"The house is spacious and comfortable, situated in a quiet but convenient area. "We enjoyed our stay in the area. Lots of beautiful countryside and the sea in the distance. the house was great for two couples. You should be aware that a car is essential as there is nothing within walking distance. The coast is 10km down hairpin bends, hence the view! Avola and the surrounding area is lovely, much to see and many beautiful towns and villages. The need to get in the car everytime is a disadvantage, especially in the evenings."

"Really enjoyed our time here. The gardens are gorgeous and even in the heat, green and lush. Whatever time of day, there is always some shadowy spot beach is literally 5 mins walk, and a good one too. Our nights were quiet, there are some dogs in the neighbourhood (as other reviews mention) but during our stay we slept with our windows wide open and had no noise.
