"Our family of five had a very comfortable 3 night stay. The property is clean, well maintained, updated with appliances, and just beautiful. We did it all, hiked the short easy trails, fished (catch and release only), had a fire in the fire pit, grilled, and enjoyed the peaceful scenery on the porch. The ducks were so cute and friendly. We had a few questions the first full day, and Katie was quick to respond. We ventured out to Daingerfield State Park and had an amazing time there! The kitchen is well equipped for anything you need! Pro tip: bring a few paper plates along. The dishes work great but for our family we had to wash quite a bit. The grill is very nice too—another pro tip: bring a lighter :) it was so fun and we would love to return for another stay! Thank you so much to the lovely hosts! "The staff was SO FRIENDLY. Loved everyone we encountered. Kids had a great time in the indoor pool and the rooms were very comfortable. Paying to park is crazy to me. This isn’t a flyable city so that is so bizarre? Expedia sent me a lot of wrong information, such a the pool being closed (it wasn’t) and stressing that I needed to download an app and check in with contactless key. After 20 minutes of frustration and error messages I went inside and the nice people were able to explain to me that this is not the process at all. Expedia responded to none of my messages so it’s better to book this hotel directly! "
