"Staying in and among buildings in a village settled in 1067, clinging to a steep mountain wall, seemed to connect us deeply to the history and geography of South France. Tricky to find, even with the help of some good men in St Andre de Vizines, the effort was exponentially rewarded. Of our 1800+ kilometer drive to visit alps, a bridge, a cave, and a city of lights, our stay in St. Andre keeps emerging as a true highlight."

"This property was perfect for our needs and very much as described on the website. The kitchen was well equipped, the lounge and bedroom comfortable and the outside garden space a lovely place to relax. The town is very pretty with lovely riverside walks and opportunities for fishing. There were plenty of cafes, small shops and an excellent supermarket nearby. Living next door, the host was very helpful. The area itself was great for walking, picnics, fishing and we found different places to go...

"Our four night stay was very comfortable. We were waiting to sign the completion on the property we bought also in Le Bas Segala. Cosy little gite with a super pellet stove which worked well. Marie Ange and Alain were very helpful and made us very welcome. Very good overall for what we needed, a warm comfy place to stay for a few nights. Would recommend."

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay here for 1 week. It is a beautiful property in a quiet, peaceful location. You can often see deer in the field. Kitchen is well stocked. Nice big bathtub to relax in. It was nice to have a washer and dryer. The owners are very friendly and we had great communication throughout our stay. We highly recommend!"

"Jean Jacques and Denise were lovely hosts. The gite is a lovely property which is well appointed, and nothing was too much trouble for Jean Jacques and Denise who live nearby. Petit déjeuner et repas sur la terrasse avec le murmure du ruisseau qui est à 50m du gite (sans risque pour des enfants) Qualité de l'eau bonne car des écrevisses y vivent. On trouve tout le nécessaire à Mur de Barrez, dont un bon boucher. Région Magnifique , nous avons sillonné à 40 km à la ronde et profitez des nombreuses plages aménagées sur les lacs de barrage. "Good location for visiting the western Cevennes, basic accomodation that was comfortable for two. It could get a bit noisy in late afternoon and early evening but the view was stunning. Parking occasionaly awkward and the steps up to the cottage could be difficult for some."

Proximité de Millau de de son fabuleux Viaduc à 18 Kms ainsi que de nombreux sites touristiques aus alentours. Pour un futur séjour dans l'Aveyron, nous y reviendrons, c'est sur !!!"
