"Excellent holiday home, incredibly well kept property and pool and such a peaceful location. Very close to local shops and stunning scenery. Owners live nearby and were very helpful. Had absolutely everything we could have needed, and the pool was brilliant. 5 stars all round."

"Our four night stay was very comfortable. We were waiting to sign the completion on the property we bought also in Le Bas Segala. Cosy little gite with a super pellet stove which worked well. Marie Ange and Alain were very helpful and made us very welcome. Very good overall for what we needed, a warm comfy place to stay for a few nights. Would recommend."

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay here for 1 week. It is a beautiful property in a quiet, peaceful location. You can often see deer in the field. Kitchen is well stocked. Nice big bathtub to relax in. It was nice to have a washer and dryer. The owners are very friendly and we had great communication throughout our stay. We highly recommend!"

"Jean Jacques and Denise were lovely hosts. The gite is a lovely property which is well appointed, and nothing was too much trouble for Jean Jacques and Denise who live nearby. The property is well located for visits to both the Lot and Aveyron valleys, where there is much to see and do. Highly recommended."

Petit déjeuner et repas sur la terrasse avec le murmure du ruisseau qui est à 50m du gite (sans risque pour des enfants) Qualité de l'eau bonne car des écrevisses y vivent. On trouve tout le nécessaire à Mur de Barrez, dont un bon boucher. Région Magnifique , nous avons sillonné à 40 km à la ronde et profitez des nombreuses plages aménagées sur les lacs de barrage. "The hameau is a wonderfully tranquil place, the house was exactly as pictured and well equipped, the gardens and pool were delightful and well maintained. Fabienne and Olivier were friendly, responsive, discreet hosts whose english was far better than our french will ever be! The two nearest towns Figeac; the larger; and Cajarc have all you need and plenty of good restaurants, Figeac has a very good market. Our only slight regret was the distance to food shops even a boulangerie required a car...

"Nous avons passé un tres bon sejour dans ce gite, agréable et bien équipé pour des enfants et bebes (il y a notamment des jeux pour enfants à disposition). Les enfants ont apprécié également pouvoir aller voir les animaux (lapins, dindons, anes, vaches... et petits chatons dans le jardin !). Bon accueil des propriétaires qui sont très gentils, et nous ont offert des légumes/fruits fraichement cueillis de leur potager !"

"This is our 2nd stay at Le Douluch and it was as good as the 1st time. The house is gorgeous and well laid out. All communication with the owners was very clear and friendly and the manager Suzanne was lovely. The house is in a really tranquil area of France which isn’t hugely touristy but the pool is fabulous and private when the weather is good. We had a few overcast days this time but used that to explore the local area and would definitely recommend the chocolate made by the nuns at Abbaye...

"Malcolm and Vivian where very welcoming and helpful. The views are amazing and the location is very peaceful. The house is beautiful and quirky, although if you like to cook for yourselves, the kitchen is a little short on utensils. We improvised! We had a problem with the cooker and Malcolm had it replaced the next day! We would definitely stay again."
