"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"We all had an enjoyable stay, the house was spacious, well equipped and in a quiet residential area with few shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The pool and garden were great for the kids and the metro nearby was handy for trips into Porto. Maria was a great host and very communicative, regarding any questions we had."

"Dino and Ines were the perfect hosts, they could not have done more for us. On our first night they even took us out to a restaurant for a super meal before showing us around Povao de Vazim. They pointed out the local supermarkets, metro station, parking and took us on a tour of the town. The house had everything that we could have wanted together with bread, cheese, a nice bottle of wine and even a home baked cake.
