"We stayed in Room 8 for four nights and had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was made to order by the chef and was absolutely delicious. The dinners were magnificent – and the Sunday roast was one of the best we've ever had! Everything was made from scratch, with perfectly cooked vegetables and a choice of pork, beef, lamb, or chicken (or even a mix of meats!). Even though it was Mother’s Day and fully booked, the quality and portions were just as high – no drop in standards at all. Highly recommended! "

"A beautifully renovated property, keeping all the history but with modern comforts. Well equipped farmhouse kitchen with a large dining table, many characterful and gorgeously appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. A brilliant games room and hot tub and a share of the lovely indoor swimming pool. Wonderful countryside views and of Glastonbury Tor. We were a mixed family group from Grandparents to newborns and the house was perfect. Would certainly suit teenagers too. We loved it and can’t wait to return. Thank you very much."

"Wow - what a wonderful stay we had! The cottage is absolutely gorgeous and has clearly had a lot of care and attention poured into every detail. The sound system was a real bonus and really made the place feel extra special. We loved looking through the photo album left of the renovations Darren and Nicky had done over the years! The village itself is beautiful too, a really peaceful tranquil place if you’re looking for a true getaway. We had a meal at The Crown in the village on a Friday night and were lucky enough to be there on a night with music and lots of dancing. The locals were all very friendly and welcoming (as was the cider!). Darren was brilliant and there for any questions we had. He got back to us very quickly and even recommended a lovely walk around the village. We didn’t have a car but didn’t feel we needed one on reflection - there is plenty to explore and a bus to Glastonbury town too which was a really special day out (the tor is a must!). I would happily stay at this beautiful cottage again - in fact I want to move in! I’d recommend it to anyone. Thank you Darren and Nicky."

"Vine Cottage is a large, spacious, property, ideal for our family group of seven adults. With two lounges, we never felt like we were tripping over each other. It's in a beautiful location situated in the vineyard itself. The kitchen/dining room is stunning, and made for family get togethers. However, the description in the listing needs to have more information. First of all, THERE IS NOT A MICROWAVE! It never entered our heads that there wouldn't be one at the property, but there wasn't. Fortunately, it only hampered our meals on the first evening, as we'd all taken something that could be heated quickly. We then had to quickly become acquainted with the Aga. Having been terrified at the thought of using the Aga, the instructions in the kitchen were clear, and perfectly understandable for us novices, and we left after our four days thinking how brilliant is was and actually having enjoyed using it. There is also an electric fan oven and an induction hob. The listing needs to specify exactly what is and isn't at the property. Also, just to make clear, there are two ensuite bathrooms and a family bathroom upstairs, but the fourth family bathroom is downstairs, just off the kitchen. Again, this needs to be mentioned in the listing for potential renters. A lovely welcome pack was waiting for us at the cottage which included a bottle of the Wraxall Rose. We later enjoyed a bottle of their Bacchus at The View. Overall, highly recommended and would definitely stay again."
