"My first experience was somewhat a little less than perfect. Upon arrival I wasn’t aware that there was no parking deck. There was paid public parking only 2 hrs at a time but they did offer valet parking for $20 overnight. I knew we would be coming and going during it visit to Alabama so we public parked. Anyhow once I entered the room i realized housekeeping and maintenance need to step up to the plate. The toilet seat was almost off it was so loose, the couch was very nasty and stained and the television in the sitting area wouldn’t turn on. I was accommodated by moving to another room but that couch was nasty also. I always bring a flat sheet of my own to place on the couch anyway so I was glad I didn’t forget one. The hotel is so pretty and the staff was professional and very nice. The MOD was very accommodating and happy to resolve our issues with a smile. The location is perfect. It sits in the middle of many attractions and restaurants. Safe environment. I slept like a baby and like I was at home. It was quiet and the halls were very clean. Whenever I visit Alabama I will stay here again. "
