"Beautiful hotel with fantastic heated pool and gorgeous food served by friendly accommodating staff. Great value for money and the hotel is perfectly placed to discover the jewels of the Dordogne such as Perigueux and the cave paintings at Lascaux. The only slight issue is a bit of bliss from the road right behind the pool and the breakfast could have been better for the price. But great stay overall’ "

"Owners, caretakers, cleaners were excellent. Very proactive in ensuring our stay was brilliant. Lots of different areas to relax and be alone if desired. Expect occasional insect ingress. That’s a reflection on the hillside location. Fabulous stay. A forest fire in Bordeaux led to smoke in the area. Staff came to visit to warn us and advise us. Thank you."

"Firstly the Gite is beautifully renovated and decorated and the area is lovely with so much to do locally. Montignac has plenty of restaurants and the one across the road is so fabulous we went twice. We did have a few problems though - with the air-conditioning not working and needing a part (fans were provided and it was not a hot week luckily). The wifi was patchy but we were given another network code which sorted out the problem. The lawns had not been recently cut when we arrived, which...

"La cabane Rouge-gorge à tout pour plaire ! On se retrouve immergé dans les arbres et le bain suédois est un réel plaisir. Le Périgord est encore une fois magnifique. Et Sarlat-la-Canéda toujours belle. On a adoré !"
