Only criticism was that there was a large wedding that overtook and closed the restaurant and bar over several days, which meant we often had to eat in our room. Valet parking and breakfast included in the rate was a nice perk. "

"This was a fantastic find. The price was very reasonable and the accommodations were superb. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. We spent 12 days there at the end of September/early October. The place is extremely well situated in a beautiful bucolic setting and very close to many key sites to visit in the Luberon. From the minute, we arrived by car, they expected us, handled the check-in, and moved us to the front desk, where we were welcomed personally. Above all, the concierge service was fantastic from advising us before our stay, during our stay, to offering us navigation For our departure. I would highly recommend this property or any in the Arielle family of luxury resorts. We departed with welcome gifts that we will cherish forever. The only downside was having to compare our next hotels to La Bastide de Gordes!"

"This property is fully equipped and has plenty of space. The location of the property means it remains cool even on hot days. The village has plenty of character and yet is not too busy. The local bar is very welcoming and the village shop well supplied with fresh bread and other essentials. Several other beautiful villages are a short drive away. The town of Apt is worth a visit too. There is plenty of hiking close by, some from the village and some in the Luberon, which can be seen in the marvellous view from the roof terrace of the property. The host Christophe stayed in good touch with us and was very happy to offer advice. We had a fabulous holiday, thank you!"
