"We had such a wonderful time during our stay! Beautiful view, comfortable bed, well stocked camper, plenty of firewood. We loved taking the kayak out and my dog loved running around the property. There are neighbors but you can’t see them so we had privacy and peace. Quick and easy drive to town to get supplies. Couldn’t ask for much more in a little lake vacation. Hope to be back soon!"

"The Steam Threshers and the Trolls brought us to the area for a busy weekend and this property was perfectly placed for us. Then during the evenings we were able to relax on the shady patios. The kayaks were a lot of fun too. "

"We had a wonderful time staying at this excellent property. The patio hot tub, outdoor fireplace and house all have great views of the lake. The lakeshore siting area and fire pit are right next to the water. The Pontoon boat was a great extra to tour the lake. Everything worked well and the house was very clean and well decorated. "

"The property was nice and spacious. It had most the amenities for living their for a week. A few more kitchen items would have been helpful (pot holders, pans, etc. However the stuff that was there was in good shape. I would stay again at this property. "

"We had a good and relaxing getaway. The house worked wonderful for the family and the kids loved the all the game selections. It was a very nice place to stay."

We love the ministry that this home provides to our veterans and their families. Some things that would have made our stay even more relaxing would have been a hall tree to hang our coats in place of the grandfather clock by the door, having the lightswitches labeled so that we didn't have to try them all to figure out which one was for which lights, and having the...

"The yard is shaded and has a nice sand beach for the kids to play. There is a lot of “toys” to use - which was really nice."

"We enjoyed our time at this lake cabin. It was quiet and clean. We had everything we needed to cook for a large group and enough beds to accommodate us all. The pontoon rental and paddle boats were our favorite. We caught a ton of fish and enjoyed the campfire every night. Ken and Valerie were great at communicating and made sure we had an enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend! "

"Very clean, decently appointed. We were there for a family gathering at my sisters so didn’t need to spend much time which turned out to be good. There is not much beyond the dwelling. The place was very clean and comfortable. However the smell from the well water was pretty over powering. While there was a keurig machine, it would have been nice to have coffee cups available at the property. Overall it served our purpose."
