"I stayed here with 3 other adults and a 9 year old. What a beautiful property!!! Well equipped, very clean and tidy with stunning views. No noise from the train and in a perfect location to explore! Brilliant hostess and I would highly recommend 🙂"

"You enter through a lush garden, the house decor is art deco, spacious dining/living room, plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, etc… The host, Sylvie, lives in the adjacent property, but everything remains very private. Silvia is a wonderful host, patiently shared info about local sites, grocery shopping, restaurants. It is an easy 10 minute walk to grocery , restaurants, and other shopping. We stayed a week, but could have easily done a longer stay. Highly recommended for up to 6 people. "

"The villa was very clean, very well equipped and perfect for our stay.....the pool was a great size for our group of four. The only negative was that we experienced very low water pressure during our stay which impacted the bathrooms and made showering sometimes a little challenging. The Commune of Durban is a lovely village and had a useful local Supermarket with Bakery and a really nice Bar / Restaurant ( Chez Prano). We had to travel a little distance in the evening to visit other restaurants...

"If you want a beach holiday this is the place. We also wanted to explore the area and this was a great location to do this from. The owner gave us great tips of where to go and where to eat. The apartment has great views and is the perfect getaway if you want a relaxed holiday on the beach. "

"From the initial enquiry, communication with the owners was excellent. Anne and Frédéric are excellent hosts, very helpful without being intrusive. The accommodation cannot be faulted. Clean, very well equipped and very spacious. Small but well stocked supermarket within 5 minutes. Larger Carrefour and E Leclerc hypermarkets within 20 minutes. Pleasant 3 mile walk through vineyards and around a lake straight from the Gite with more demanding and walks and hikes within driving distance....

"Die Unterkunft war mit der Beschreibung in der Anzeige nur schwer zu finden. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist wunderbar fußläufig zum Meer und sauber. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern und Frau Milan war sehr freundlich. Die Lampen am Bett zum abendlichen Lesen sind punktgenau super. Teilweise fanden laute Gartenarbeiten morgens ab 8.00 Uhr in der Nachbarschaft statt. Leider war von den zwei Terrassen nur eine, mit Blick auf den Parkplatz, nutzbar. Auf der andere Terrasse stehen Maulbeerbäume von...

We feel the property description is misleading in some areas, and hope the following will clarify things: 1. It sleeps 8 (at a push) but only seats 4. "We enjoyed our visit to Narbonne and the area. The gite was clean and tidy, but there was mis-communication between the owner and ourselves regarding a few items. Although VRBO state that the owner speaks English, this was not really the case. VRBO also stated in the literature that towels and bedding were included. They were not, and we had to pay extra. Even then, the towels were still not provided on our arrival. There were no tea towels, or oven gloves either. We thought that the equipment...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this house it is very well equipped and very close to la Cité. Perfectly located for visiting and strolls by the river Aude. (Plenty of games and good WiFi kept teenagers happy when indoors)"

Hôtel Le Donjon - Coeur de la Cité Médiévale

"The Hotel Le Donjon is one of the most unique places I've ever stayed. It was a great experience. From our room we could see the Chateau Comtal, the castle of Carcassonne. The hotel is right in the middle of La Cite Medievale, near the Aude Gate. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was great staying in the walled city. We could bring our purchases back to the room easily. The hotel also has a secured parking lot that it shares with the nearby Hotel de La Cite. We would definitely stay here again and request the same room!"

"Nice quant hotel within an easy walk to walled medieval city that offers many dining options as does the area outside of the walled city. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. It's clean and well maintained with a nice indoor and outside eating area. Rooms were on the smaller side which is typical for older properties in Europe. Definitely would stay here again."
