It’s about a 15-20 min walk to/from the train station and grocery store (we did it a couple times), but I’d recommend a cab or a rental car to get around. The best part of the trip was the excitement of returning to the house after a long day of adventures, and hearing the constant laughter of the children running up and down the halls while playing hide and seek in their very own castle. "My family loved staying at this home! We had plenty of room for my family of 5. Being able to walk into the fishing village or drive 15 minutes into town, this house was the perfect location for seeing Scotland sites on the east coast. "The house is absolutely gorgeous! Maintained to a very high standard. Gorgeous bedrooms and a beautiful lounge area which was ideal for our trip. Our gran is approaching 90 and we wanted to spend time with her somewhere relaxing and nice. This was perfect! The views are spectacular! The house has everything you may need and the hosts have thought of everything. Hosts were in contact if we needed them and are very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely return 😊 Thank you ☺️"

"Property had everything we needed during our stay and had the added bonus of a hot tub. Great place to stay for a large group and plenty of space for the kids to run around. All the rooms were big so plenty of space. Location was great to get into the countyside and cloae to local shop. Would recomend anyone with a familty to stay."

"Property was mostly as advertised. Check in process was easy and property had all the very basics (e.g., hand soap, washing liquid, new sponge). Could do with a deep clean (quite a bit of dust in the nooks and crannies). Parking spot is very narrow and requires a bit of skill to reverse into. Would be difficult for anything larger than a compact car (and for drivers not accustomed to having the driver’s seat on the right hand side). There was quite a bit of noise from the major roadway passing...

The fact that we had the beach all to ourselves on the first day was an added bonus. Great walks from the property. Property was very well equipped and Gary a lovely welcoming host. "Wow! The photos don't do the place justice, its amazing! The communication and access are easy, on arrival a lady showed me the place, there's a set of 4 or 5 together which are seperate from the tourers etc. Theres nothing you don't need inside, shower, toilet, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster etc and all top branded quality stuff. The units are very new and modern and have been decorated to the highest standard. The views are to die for and its a few minutes drive into Forfar. Cant wait to use...
