"We stayed at the larger gite which was charming and nicely decorated. Marie and Christian were great and helpful with suggestions re activities and restaurants. The gite is on a country road but traffic is light and we did not have an issue with noise. We will happily return again in the future."

"A fabulous, quirky house spread over many levels with all the mod cons ensured a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Tennis court and swimming pool meant the teenagers were entertained and happy, whilst being in the heart of the Ardeche for river swimming and canoeing! We loved our stay and meeting our lovely, friendly and helpful host."

"The property was damp and not clean to sleep in with the children’s bed being covered in dust when weight was put onto it. Furniture in the bedroom was green with mold spores. We only stayed a night as we arrived late even though we had booked for four as the smell of damp was cloying and overwhelming and the accommodation frankly unihabitable. We reported it to Vrbo asking for a refund and no help was provided sadly so we lost £500 of accommodation fees and had a disrupted holiday having to...

"The swimming pool was green with algea and very dirty. We could not use it . The kitchen was full of flies, which we spent a lot of money having to clean, buy fly spray, fly strip! The cleaning was very poor. Mattresses on beds stained. The house could be beautiful and is in a lovely setting. But is in a state of disrepair. Very disappointing as this was our first family holiday in 3 years."

"We had a fabulous stay. The house is in a wonderful area, very quiet and rural yet only 3-4km from the nearest villages/ small towns with lots of great restaurants etc. The house itself is wonderful - a true home from home. The garden is 'rustic' but great for lots of people and the dog. Note - it is not fully fenced in, although there are hedge boundaries and gates to the main road, so the dogs can (and ours did!) escape! The house offers interesting spaces, from large kitchen for group cooking to 2 living rooms, play areas, the 6-bed kids room and obviously a stunning outside area. He also visited the property early each morning to clean the pool. The location is quite remote but it's very peaceful and has lovely views over the neighbouring vineyards. If you want a quiet and peaceful break deep in the Ardeche then we highly recommend"

"House was terrible to find. Map the host sent us was unreadable. If we had typed in 'caravan lagorce' in our GPS we shoupdn't have had any problem. But that was our only bad remark: everything else was great."
