"Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment. "My two adult children and I enjoyed a comfortable stay in two private bedrooms of the home of the gentleman that owns and lives in the advertised property. He was a kind host, graciously welcoming us when we arrived far too late in the evening and waking before 5am to see us off for our early morning departure. The bed I shared with my adult daughter was the most comfortable I slept on during our entire trip. My only concern is that Vrbo had advertised this property to us as an "Entire Home"...

"AMAZING! Nichi could not have been more friendly or helpful. One of a kind place and host. Beautiful place, inside and out, with tons of character. We even saw humpback whales from the deck that overlooks the bay. Incredible location, complete with a private swimming hole, friendly neighbors who gave me a fist bump on my morning walks, and a delicious fish meal provided by Nichi on our first night. We didn't want to leave this unique place and island."
