In its current state the Chateau is about 3/4 of its former size as one of the former owners lost his luck and simply sold his part brick wise. The attached park is the most beautiful retirement for elderly horses you can imagine. Helicopter or Oldtimer Jaguars await those who would like to take a ride. "We spent a wonderful week here this summer with our two young children. The location of the cabin is excellent, with a descent super market in the village, petrol station, golf club and a few bars. There are many beautiful villages within 20 minutes drive with restaurants and bars. 10 mins drive is a lovely lake which we swam in as well as hired a kayak, perfect when the temperature was 30 degrees! Also there’s a climbing/forest activity which we spent the whole day at less than 10 minutes away...

"Nous avons séjourné 2 jours et tout c’est très bien passé . Je n’avais pas bien intégré que le logement était en fait le premier étage de la maison du propriétaire. Mais cette partie est indépendante et bien aménagée. La propriétaire est très attentive, discrète et nous avons pu profiter de la totalité du jardin pendant ce séjour ensoleillé"

"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"
