Find Hotel with a Concierge in Asuncion

"Very economical and fine for my one night, but I was told not to leave the property after dark....unsafe. As no one at the hotel speaks English, and my Espanol is poor, I'm not clear if that meant it was unsafe for me because I was a tourist or if that applied to everyone. It's about 5-10 minutes outside of "downtown" Asuncion, but as you'll find, there really isn't much in "downtown" Asuncion. Instead the area around Arthaus is a more upscale area with private homes, and walking distance to two major shopping areas, restaurants, and higher end spots.
