"We loved our stay at the lodge. It was very well equipped and the location is beautiful. The hosts were super helpful with their communications. The lodge itself is a little tired looking but this didn't bother us. It was clean & tidy though. The location is very calm & peaceful but no amenities within easy walking distance. Again, this didn't bother us as we enjoyed the peace & quiet. "

The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. "Booked for my husband's 60th. Accommodated the eight of us and the dog beautifully. Each couple had their own bathroom although the one by the front door was not ensuite but this was not a problem for us.The sofa is huge and we were all able it sit/stretchout comfortably.
