"We (my partner, and my Mum) had a lovely stay here to celebrate my Mum's birthday and really appreciated the treats left for us! Check in was super easy with the lock box. The cottage is great for 2 guests as both bedrooms have an en suite (although the upstairs/loft bedroom doesn't have a door FYI). "Elm Bank is a beautiful cottage in a perfect location in Lower Swell. The listing is accurate, if anything the pictures do not quite show you how large the cottage is. We were more than comfortable as a group of six adults. "We were a group of 7 ranging from 24-86 & a dog - the cottage was an absolute home from home. Downstairs bathroom & bedroom meant my mum with mobility issues was comfortable. The tiled floors downstairs mean no worries about dirty feet and paws. "Great, centrally-located property. The appartment was modern, clean &spacious. The staff were friendly & helpful. I had a room above the pedestrianised area which meant there was a bit of noise from people leaving the pubs but it soon died down. I'd stay again."

Really lovely hotel

"Lovely stay here in Stratford. Our room was large with a lovely bathroom and included a balcony, which sadly looked over the police car park! The toiletries were all l’occitane. Check in was quick and easy and communication prior to our stay was good, ensuring we had made parking arrangements and that our diner reservation was arranged. It is situated fairly central so was just a short stroll to either the river and markets, or the town and sites. Dinner was nice, my husbands nicer than mine, and breakfast was great. Lots on offer. "

"Lovely large room with a view of Stratford, comfy bed and pilllows and walkable distance to shops and places to visit. Only thing missing was a coffee machine! Breakfast was ok but could have been hotter. Staff were all very polite and helpfull. Would stay again but not in a club lounge room. The food there was the same every night and not to many people's taste. "
