"Very thoughtfully restored old Villa just minutes from Cortona . The house and grounds are exactly as pictured. The very private road that leads there is a bit rough and seems very remote at first but after you venture out once you see that every convenience is minuets away and beautiful Cortona as well. A car is a good idea if you plan to go around Tuscany. 2 trains in town go everywhere but it helps to get to train and town with a car. The host is very responsive and hands on."

"We loved this property- very well equipped, lovely pool and great views. And, only a few minutes walk into the village with lovely bars restaurants and shops. A perfect location. The only thing that might cause an issue for some ( not for us) , is that the third bedroom is a mezzanine floor within the second bedroom with a very steep staircase. The only access to the bathroom from these rooms is either through the main bedroom or through the patio door and around the outside of the property. ...

"Gorgeous cottage with double bedroom and twin bedroom was ideal for our family of three. Beautiful scenery, very peaceful, traditional feel to the place. Easy walk to a small town with good small shop and friendly restaurant. Hosts were super welcoming and friendly - and provided a welcome food package so generous we didn't finish it all in our week long stay. "Our family recent toured Italy and this was one of our favorite places to stay. The apartment was decorated like a traditional Tuscan home but with all the modern conveniences. It had plenty of room for our family of 4 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The grounds were so beautiful and we loved the pool. I liked how it was set outside of the city but stil walking distance. "This day was truly as good as it gets. It started with our flight being delayed. The property owner stayed and met us several hours after our designated check-in time. When we got out of the taxi, he was standing at the front door waiting for us to show us how to get up to the apartment. He then proceeded to take us through each and every step of the way.
