"It was good. The door where you hang you coats was broken and I struggled to open it. However, the bed was comfortable to sleep in and breakfast and dinner was delicious."

"1 night stay just before Christmas - hotel staff were excellent, was expecting to pay for parking but receptionist suggested I sign up to an ‘Accor Live Limitless’ account which makes parking was free (result!). Room was a good size but one issue was the hot water in the shower. Even with the temperature turned up as hot as possible the shower water was a little tepid (it was better using the hand held shower rather than the rose in the ceiling…….but would expect better). "Staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a small problem with the heating system in our room and the young lady in the reception offered us an electric heater which was really helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Cleaner was also very lovely and friendly lady. The hotel is located very close to the airport which is a great advantage for those travelling with planes. "

"We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"Great hotel with breakfast included it felt like you was staying in a castle just by the main exit. When you got out of the courtyard you was in city center. Had a wonderful time exploring the sites as all were within walking distance"

"The room was clean but for 3 people it was ultra small and a tight squeeze. The area around seemed more industrial and we did not feel safe staying out late. The staff were very helpful in arranging for a taxi as we had an early train to catch"

"Overall, an excellent experience. The La Sapiniere had a real apartment feel to it and I could easily see my family and I staying here again. The apartment is well stocked with just about everything that a guest might need to include dishes, toiletries, bedding/linens, cleaning products, and vacuum. "Nice rooms, but beds did not have a fitted sheet between flat sheet and mattress protector, so you had to sleep in contact with either the mattress protector or the comforter. I asked for a fitted sheet, but none was provided."
