"Staff at restaurant was untrained. They don't know what to serve at what time and moreover they lack basic servicing & communication skills. General Manager of the property doesn't have a courtesy to meet and address guests grievances and look at service deficiency."

"It was an incredible experience! Kashmiri people are lovely, their hospitality is marvellous. I wish there was less trash everywhere in the valley - plastic bottles and plastic bags in particular. Can't really blame Kashmiris for it but some obnoxious Indian tourists from the rest of the country. Hope the trash situation improves, it is a real eye-sore and a bummer."

"Extremely Overpriced Window opened directly to wall No natural light Poor service Non co operative staff, especially room service. Denied a simple request of preparing chapati for kid. Had to go outside for dinner "

"I would say its OVERVALUED, as per price they are charging.. 1. Facility wise -- Its lacking if compared to brand 'Marriott'. Other hotels which are providing rooms at 1/3rd price are similar in security/cleanliness/room size/ambience No garden... No views.. Forget about other amenities 2. Location is not great.. "Firstly Rah Villas is not in Sonamarg but about 10 KMS before the town on the left bank of the Indus river so we had to come back all the way looking for this hotel in the middle of nowhere. Not that I mind middle of nowhere hotels, found this to be completely characterless and overpriced. The pretty photographs are a bit deceptive, and this hotel looks to be tailor made for online travel portal bookings from where they seem to get most of the business. "The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The roof-top terrace had a very nice view of the main road & the Dal lake, both at night and in daytime. The breakfast spread was very nice and the food menu was awesome - both Ala carte and In-room dining. A great location opposite Ghat No.2 at Dal gate and just 30mts from Srinagar airport."

"I stayed in the hotel for three nights. I got a room on 3rd floor which had an excellent view of snow covered hill which was liked by my family. Room, Bathroom were spacious. The breakfast was good with options like Poha, Upma, pasta, etc. The only issue I had was that we had to wait for ten minutes to get hot water every time. Overall I recommend the hotel for a quiet stay near Pahalgam. "
