"The property was as described but dated. It wasn’t really problematic until you tried to microwave water for a cup of tea and realized all the writing on the dials were missing. We figured it out though. Also unexpected was the nightlife beat that was consistently felt if you were a light sleeper. We are both not great sleepers so we were aware of it. That said, we could turn on the AC and drown out the noise. Overall, great property to walk outside and have every possible restaurant...

"We enjoyed our time at Mistle Cove. Condo is on 4th floor, there is an elevator, but took the stairs most of the time. Good proximity to restaurants, bars & Dover Beach. We were glad to have beach chairs provided with the unit. Pool was a nice option to start/end day. There is a small little beach area, not for swimming as current is too strong, but if you just want to sit on the beach, it's steps away and does have sun/shade."

"It’s always a bit of the unknown when you book somewhere , but this was a great find. Communication from the owner was great , property was exactly as described and the location was ideal . You can walk to everything you might need and if you don’t have a car , the bus stop is very close. We had a really lovely time and places like this enable us to visit a country where hotels etc can be very expensive. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. "This is the second time we have been to visit Rays beautiful apartment and both times have been Perfect!!From the breathtaking views from the balcony, to the wonderfully clean apartment and everything in between, I cannot find a single negative comment to make. "Majestic view, great beach. Sister's wedding was next to the condo, perfect location to gather for meals and socializing. Made great use of BBQ on the 4th floor terrace. Hostess was always available to answer qustions. Definitely recommend and looking forward to coming again. "

"This property is an amazing Condo. Its in an outstanding location, close to shops and many amenities in Holetown plus ideally situated for amazing beaches. The condo itself has all the amenities you could ever need on your holidays.The owner Dianne is really nice and always available to assist if you need any help with anything. "We loved our 10 days at Amaryl Apartments. The location was amazing and right in the heart of St. Lawerence Gap, yet tucked away just enough to feel private and quiet. Close to beaches, restaurants, bank machine and a small grocery store. Suite was very clean and fully equipped. Pool was the perfect touch for us. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"I stayed for 2 weeks at this property and it truly felt like home. I did not want to leave at all. The condo was so very clean and large and having the beatiful balcony to sit out on and have coffee or a glass of wine while watching the hummingbirds was absolutely perfect. The location was also terrific as there were so many restaurants to try and if you get a chance go to Salt Cafe for lunch and dinner but reserve first since it's quite popular and going to Art Splash for breakfast was also...

"The property is nice. The resort needs to provide ear plugs for their clients due to the noise of the tree frogs. Because of the way the building was designed, the tree frogs made an echo sound from sun set to sun rise. Other than that the resort has everything, restaurants, pools, bid and small and beach right on the premises."

"Wow!! We had an amazing week at The Soco. The hospitality, the staff, the food was amazing. Each room had a sea view and is equipped for all you need on an AI stay. The location was ideal for us, the hotel is at the of the boardwalk so you could chose to either drink and eat at the hotel or visit one of the bars and restaurants along the front. Which means you can have a quiet or louder night depending on your mood. The food at the hotel was excellent so we had no issues eating most meals at the hotel. The service was top level and the staff (and general manger) went above and beyond to make our stay the best experience. Some people have mentioned the road noise in the reviews- yes you can hear the road as the hotel is on the main coast road, but this never bothered us and we slept so well! The hotel is boutique with only 24rooms (approx) so the staff get to know you and your preferences and the bartenders knew what drinks to make without us asking LOL In summary - my husband and I have a policy to never stay in the same place or hotel twice as we think the world is too small to repeat a visit - but we would stay at The Soco in Barbados again and already thinking about another visit never year- for us that is top marks!!"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing with a wide variety for vegetarians. The beach that the hotel is located on is beautiful, the water is so blue and clear. Overall an excellent stay, we would highly recommend Sugar Bay. "

"Very friendly front desk reception and bellmen. We so appreciated the visitor lounge to change to go to beach prior to room being ready. Equally convenient after check out , we used the showers before leaving to airport. A wonderful plus! We fully enjoyed the restaurants on site. Great value and delicious!"
