"Essentially this is a room in a lovely resort on the coast of Maine. Location was excellent, amenities abound and were as described, staff was helpful and professional. But, I would not book again through this listing again. Host did not pay entire rate. I ended up paying 20% more out of pocket and spent too much of my stay trouble-shooting with the hotel receptionists/calling the host support line. "I will never go back there. I have rented many times thru VRBO for longer vacations and never had a problem. I decided to go thru VRBO to rent a 2 night stay in Maine and paid top dollar. There was so many add on charges for a room at $149. dollars, that this budget motel ended up costing a little over $630. dollars for the 2 night stay."

Amazing stay-wonderful staff

"The room has a BEAUTIFUL view! The stay itself was great! The service itself was absolutely amazing! The were so kind. We were traveling for our first time with our newborn and ended up forgetting a hat of hers there. Not only did they call to tell us that we left it there.. they offered to ship it to us! There's no way they could have/would have known that hat was our daughter's first hat and was special to us. But it meant the world that they even thought to save it and call us. Wonderful experience. "
