"I really enjoyed my “home away from home” here! Everything was exactly as advertised in the listing. You MUST watch the video provided after your booking is confirmed so you can easily find it. Be orepared to walk hills and stairs as it is above the historic district with beautiful views of the river and the Ribiera waterfront from outside by the church. "

"We had a very good stay. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we made it work. Very close to restaurants and the river. Could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues due to a steep staircase. Apt was clean and quiet."

"Francisco is very communicative and check in was simple. He had all the documentation ready and the apartment was in excellent condition. He had a list of sites to see and was able to coordinate tours and even breakfast. The unit itself is within walking distance of almost everything I wanted to see. I'd stay here again were I going back to Porto in the near future."

"Two families, 12 total, and plenty of space. Property is in a great location, everything within walking distance or a quick Uber away. For those that don’t normally travel with cash, you’ll need to pay the hotel tax upon arrival, now 4/night, age 13. "

Believe it or not, wine, fruit, coffee, tea, refrigerated water, toiletries, laundry supplies, dishwashing supplies .... the list goes on and on. You will be very impressed. "The Yellow House was clean and comfortable. Paulo’s mother was lovely, greeting us and pouring us port to celebrate our arrival. She kindly showed us the basics of our place, and even walked us down the street to show us where to go and eat. Fado Portuguese was so close, great food, wine and live Fado. Be healthy and reasonably active…lots of hills to climb here, but so much to see."

"There were several negatives to the enjoyment of our visit, including:1. There was no one there on May 25 to let us into the property. After a lot of time-wasting we managed to contact "Ribeiro", who in turn called a neighbor with a key to the property.2. The house and its contents were very old and urgently need modernizing. Specifically: - there were too few power points to charge all of our cel phones, tablets and laptops; - the bathroom and cupboard doors in the main suite do not close; -...

"We moved from another place on short notice, and they were very accommodating. We visited Porto, Aviero, braga Arouca, 516 bridge and Gaia. It is located in a little town and is on a private street where we could park right in front. It was walking distance to restaurants and various things. Not a lot of businesses in the town but we purposely wanted a quiet place. The apartment was on the first floor, which is one up from the ground, and what was the equivalent of a house. Enjoyed our visit...

"The apartment was lovely, perfect for 1-2 persons, with a great view from the balcony. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Leonor. The location was fantastic, very close to the Bolhão market, the metro, dining, shopping and groceries. It was easy to walk to the historic district and the river. Next time I am in Porto, I will definitely stay here again!"
