"The staff are friendly but I had an issue with the shower being lukewarm to cold which was very disappointing when you stay at a hotel. I didn’t have a shower because the water was not warm enough. The food is good. On my previous stay the shower was just fine but at this time wasn’t and they didn’t offer to change rooms as they didn’t rectify the problem. "

"Lovely hotel with great views. The room was large, bed large and very comfy, and bathroom large and well equipped. We didn't get a chance to go to the spa but had a pleasant walk around the grounds which are well sign-posted."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Belmont House Hotel recently. We received a very warm welcome from the lovely receptionist which makes all the difference when you have travelled a distance in such bad weather. Our room was magnificent, above average in size and tastefully decorated. We overlooked the gardens to the front and side and yet it was very quiet. It was spotlessly clean. The en-suite was both modern & spacious. Despite the size, the room was very cosy & warm, we felt very comfortable...

Location is great, amenities like Tesco, McDonalds are literally opposite. Town is just a couple of minutes walk away."
