"The hosts Helen and Joan are lovely and very helpful. This is a great location for exploring this lovely area. The swimming pool was great for a dip and the cottage is as described. Very peaceful and rural. We took a few days to adjust as it is rustic and local mossies liked to bite us! Fab restaurant La Trobada a few mins away and lovely walks nearby through Walnut orchards. "Incredibly remote and rural location with the best located pool I've experienced! (light salt water too which was lovely) Very helpful and pleasant owners (Francoise & Giacomo) who also left us in private. We were looking for a few tranquil and relaxing days with access to coast/towns and mountains during the day - this surpassed our expectations! very ecological with solar power etc. Tip; take a swim or sit by the pool after dark, the sky at night is breathtaking - highly recommended."

"Beautiful house and great common and private outside areas. I was on the fence after reading about the smell but after staying there it's clear that, while we did a couple of times smell the neighboring farm for a little bit, it's all part of the country experience. Great location, short walk to Llado's center and short drive to Besalu. I would gladly go back again and again."

"Excellent choice for our family of 5 adults and two kids. The house is a newer addition to a century old farmhouse. Very functional, clean and comfortable. The host Dolors is an adorable person and made us feel right at home, even gave us a basket with fresh eggs from her chickens. The house is located at short drive from Figueres and Besalu. Highly recommended."

"Stayed here for two nights in July 2025 after visiting Barcelona, Girona, Carcassonne, Montserrat and more. My (adult) children said this was their favorite location. You should have heard them gasp as we drove the road! We had plenty of space to stretch out, and we watched the Olympics from the TV. Wifi was fine but did not test for Zoom or anything.
