"These apartments are basic but very clean. Kitchen has limited utensils and therefore you can't really do much cooking but there is a full size fridge with freezer and microwave and coffee machine. My criticism really is there is no air con and the rooms are really stuffy, particularly the bathroom as ours didn't have a window. "A very nice little apartment hotel which I used while at Ironman Barcelona. The hotel likes the event so was very accommodating of bikes and things like that. Very friendly staff, chatted about how things were going and were happy to answer questions. The room was a little basic compared to a more expensive hotel, but for the price it was fine. "This is an excellent corporate hotel to stay in if all you need is a clean, comfortable hotel room near public transportation. The staff is diligent and friendly, with the sole exception of the Sunday afternoon staff that refused to interrupt their snack break to check us in a few minutes early. This is not a hotel to book if you want to enjoy lounging in the lobby or the surrounding area -but it is the perfect place to stay if you plan to spend all of your time in the Old center of Barcelona. "

"Being American, Europe often feels like a second world country with some of the lack of amenities and the complications surrounding transportation and overall cleanliness. I would say that Granollers is great for being a non-tourist city in Europe and the hotel has amenities that I had not found elsewhere! The staff is incredible. They’re absolutely lovely and polite and they give amazing advice on food, culture, and local adventures. The exemplary staff is defined by an individual named Xavi Pascual who works at the front desk. He did such an amazing job that I am actually planning back to repeat my adventures in Granollers and staying at Aparthotel Atenea again. "
