"Perfect retreat to unwind and just relax. The apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay and a lovely south facing terrace for sun lovers, with great views of the sea and mountains. Excellent pool with relaxing patio with sun loungers. To finish I would like to say Madeleine is an excellent host, nothing is too much trouble."

"Beautiful location, fanrastic villa and pool. Really well equipped, clean and comfortable. We would have liked more information regarding the journey up the mountain to the villa for car hire. You do need to be an experienced driver. It was challenging!. Wasps were also a bit of a problem so some wasp catchers would have been welcome. Thank you for 2 weeks of bliss."

"Lovely villa with traditional spanish features. Fantastic outside space, pool and outdoor cooking area. Juan, the owner, is very nice and very helpful. Main road through Arenas is very long and windy. Beware of where satnav trys to route you, unmade single track roads, steep hills with sharp bends and no barriers between you and the drop. I would advise staying on tarmac!"

"Die Lage der Villa ist sehr schön, allerdings ist die Zufahrt äußerst schlecht. Es gibt nur einen unbefestigtern Weg von ca 4 km. Die Ausstattung ist in gutem Zustand. Es gibt genügend Geschirr, Handtücher etc. Unser Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre, einen neuen Fußbodenbelag zu wählen, da der jetzige ( gleiche Steinfliesen wie im Außenbereich) nicht sehr wohnlich wirkt und schon ziemlich fleckig ist. Mit Innenbereichsfliesen ( die man auch richtig putzen könnte) wäre die Villa sehr viel...

"We loved this accommodation. The villa was well equipped and clean, and had a very pretty garden and a fantastic, panoramic view. The drive to the villa is a bit bumpy, although we understand the road is to be resurfaced shortly. We managed it without difficulty in a Fiat 500 and the short, 20 minute drive up the mountainside was worth it. Manuel, the owner, was great. He met us near Algarrobo and guided us up to the villa on the best route. He was really helpful and nothing was too much...
