A few drawbacks though for a Hotel with this many stars no bottled water in the room and the rooms were quite cool "

"From the moment we checked in until we checked out everything was excellent. Our room 205 had a wonderful sea view and was spotless. It was very comfortable and I loved the exposed brick wall. "Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again."

"Arrived earlier than expected and we were greeted by friendly cheerful staff who checked to see if our room was ready. To our delight the room was ready and we were able to check in. All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.The beds were great with really good mattresses.The continental breakfast was plentiful and really set us up for our journey home.The rooms are a bit outdated but they are clean and spacious and well worth the money paid. If you didnt bring your car there is a bus station and a taxi service located a short walk from the hotel which can be a real bonus at times. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay at The Donard Hotel and would definitely return."
