"Overall a wonderful week in idyllic surroundings. Bed uncomfortable and quite small for a couple (although we are used to a King Size at home. Well equipped cottage. Log burner was absolutely lush, but necessary, as the cottage got quite cold at night, missing that the most now we are home! Spotlessly clean on arrival you could smell the bleach! "Very nice house, handy for all local shops pub etc. Slightly tricky access in and out of the parking area. Need to be careful on the staircase - an older property so nothing can be done but could be an issue for some people or small children."

"Difficult to find once on the road but a quick call to the owners sorted that. My only criticism is the cottage is dark, but if there was good lighting in the lounge that would help. I had to move. A bedside light into the lounge as it was a depressing light, whoops I forgot to put it back. Sorry. Having said that I would happily stay here again, it was almost perfect."

"We had a very nice stay in Lucas house. Both bedrooms have their own bath and there is additional toilet in the ground floor. Communication with Lucas via WhatsApp was very good. The location ofthe house -portal was not quite box code not from the website but rather only from Lucas . correct and we also only received the key "

"We have been country members of Tain Golf Club for twenty years. If you haven't played Tain, please put it on your next itinerary! We have been traveling in Scotland for many years. 2022 and 2023 was the first time we stayed for three months with NO car! So many places to visit where you can be fine walking from train station to accomodation to golf to market to restaurants. This cottage in Tain was perfect for us."
