"Rania, the receptionist, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She thoroughly explained everything and gave excellent local recommendations. And most importantly she helped with my lost handbag; I left my handbag behind during the checkout process. The bag has passports and other important stuff. I came back to look for it and she had it ready on the front desk…phew… She’s a life saver!!"

"This was an excellent stay prior to getting the ferry. A short walk to blue star terminal. The owners are so nice and very helpful the room was very clean , spacious , tidy and had cooking facilities. Super market just round the corner and a “locals” souvlaki place just opposite the supermarket. Would recommend this place to anyone for value for money and comfort. Again the owners where so nice"

"Easy access to the beach and amenities pool good people friendly nice hotel... Couple of things need upgrading in my view in the room Not enough TV english channels on the small T.V. Kitchenette needs upgrading not enough work surface..... Shower needs upgrading ...quiet small Air con positioning directly over the bed... in our room ...not good for leaving throughout the night whilst asleep"

"First impression stylish property and friendly staff, quiet location, but not really in the league of boutique hotels which have luxury linens and towels, toiletries etc. A few niggles - agree with previous reviewer about the shower, very small (I’m very petite) and kept knocking into the tap, shower curtain is too short to function effectively. Breakfast wasn’t great, limited hot food came out, but no hot plate to keep it warm? Orange juice was not fresh orange and food was the same most days,...

"The hotel was modern, clean and tidy. The room was small but suitable for a 1 night stay. Staff on reception during check-in were not very friendly and charged me for the room, even though I had paid by using my saved vouchers. This was rectified later in the day by the manager. There was no secure place to leave luggage and we were told that we could just put our bags outside the gym. Not ideal and didn't want to leave our belongings in such a public area. "Such a lovely, family run hotel. So much more personal and quiet compared to the bigger, 4 & 5 star hotels. We were really glad we picked the Caravel. Huge room (apartment), great food and pool and just over the road from the sea. The owners were incredibly friendly, sorted out some last minute euros for us and booked probably the best taxi service we’ve ever had! All the good reviews were spot on. "
