"We had a great stay at Seagull Landing. The house is warm, thoughtfully appointed, very comfortable, and Deb is a great communicator. Beach access is amazingly close to the house and the beach is incredible. The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep at night in a very comfortable bed. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"We, along with three other couples have been vacationing on the Oregon Coast for the past 25 years. This house had one of the best stocked (& organized) kitchens of all we've stayed in. Also a plus was 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, which can be hard to find on the coast. Nice living room with plenty of seating and a large dining table. I do want to comment on the parking, we were fine because we only had two rigs there that we parked outside, but if you'd need to park a vehicle in the garage, know that a full size short-wheel base pickup won't fit in the garage. We all enjoyed our stay at The Captain's House, and the day trips we took to Tillamook & Astoria. Always a great time on the Oregon Coast!"

"Enjoyed our stay in Arch Cape. Great open space for gathering on the top floor, Time for games, crafting, conversation with a view over the rooftops of the ocean. Comfortable home, lots of natural light and quiet neighborhood. Owners were very responsive! Will stay again. "

"Wow, this house has everything you need for a group stay! We were a group of adults, late 30’-mid 70’s and everyone agreed that the place was tops. The sunsets on a clear day, can not be beat! The house is very clean and location is prime. "

"The stay at Rose Haven was quite enjoyable however, there are some things which need to be addressed so future renters don’t encounter what we did. YES, the windows tend to get quite saturated with condensed water inside. Its because its colder outside than inside, and the window seals or windows need replacing as the cottage is older and needs that renovation to simply “hush” those who are looking for something to complain about. YES, the mattresses were replaced with VERY comfortable, nice mattresses HOWEVER, one of the double beds (in the room alone) simply needs a new frame or box spring… as the bed is horribly uncomfortable as it currently is. Second double bed is comfortable… the bed situation makes for a difficult time if there’s more than ONE adult needing their own bed. Bring PLENTY of firewood for the wood burning stove, and to get the best circulation of heat from the stove, turn on the ceiling fan… The biggest issue we had was the creepy neighbor to the immediate north (next door). There’s nothing quite as creepy as coming out of the bathroom after taking a shower to see some strange man peering into the west facing windows of the house in MID DAY. This caused panic and immediate discomfort, creating a need to have more than half of the window blinds closed so we weren't being watched by a strange man, who incidentally saw that we saw him creeping, so he stood in the tall bush at the NW edge of the properties so as not to be seen. Very Very creepy."

"I can’t say enough about how perfect the location is of Loft of Riley. Arch Cape is a quieter spot than Cannon Beach, so you really feel a sense of serenity and privacy. And the house itself is situated on a perfect location along this pristine stretch of coastline. The view of the ocean is center stage and the walk down to the beach is so easy. Steps away, so you can enjoy your morning coffee while you stroke on the beach. And the sunsets are always beautiful. The property also feels even more private among the natural landscape surrounding it. We have stayed at Loft of Riley a few times and it has stood the test of time, feeling well kept and well appointed every time. We also loved how thoughtfully stocked it was. Drinks and snacks in the fridge, coffee and flavored creamer! It was such a nice touch, and it lets you just enjoy the house without worrying about having to get to the store day one. We can’t wait to return! "
