"My husband and I had a beautiful stay in Gertrude for two nights. The property is beautiful and feels secluded but is close and convenient to everything you need. The only thing to note is that the only cooking facilities are a small grill and a kettle for tea/coffee. Also a mini fridge. All worked perfectly, but good to know for planning!"

"An absolutely wonderful property. Tastefully decorated, fully stocked, and comfortable beds. Don't let the outside fool you. This is quite spacious inside with three generous bedrooms on the main floor and a fourth in the finished basement. Plenty of room for the entire family. The interior of the home looks like the pictures on the listing! Not like many properties where the picturres were taken years ago and the current state is in need of repair and updating. Kudos to Michael on this...

"We were looking for an overnight stay to attend a seasonal event at the Breakers in RI. We have used VRBO in the past as we prefer a simple accomodation rather than a traditional hotel experience. This stay was close to the waterfront, easy in/out & parking (street). The unit was small which was ok for us and nicely renovated and very clean. The host was responsive and friendly so all was good. We would use this scenario again."

"We almost don’t want others to know what a great spot this is! Very relaxing, only moved car once over a four night stay. Well equipped, location is optimal. Had all toiletries and a loaded keurig coffee station Wasn’t a problem for us, but stairs were on the steep side if mobility is a concern. Keyless entry was great! "

"I stayed at this property during a late Fall work trip to Newport. I didn’t get to enjoy the pool but I can see how amazing it would be to stay here in the summer. Everything was just as expected. Getting in was super easy. Edward even mailed a package back to me that arrived after my departure. Very fast communication. I would love to try to snag this gem for Newport Folk Fest."
