"The staff is great, the hotel is clean and the space is great for the large group that we had. There is a bar/restaurant on site! We've stayed there off and on for a year and each time we stay we see they have improved the hotel. It's a no frills older hotel but completely worth the price and it's clean and the staff go above and beyond! "

"We have stayed at this location several times. It is close to a grocery store, coffee shop, liquor store and small restaurants. It is a small town and this is a great location. Unfortunately this time we even needed a hospital and guess what, it was 3 minutes away. The clean is incredibly clean, has several beds and is well maintained. It is perfect for our family with our kids and grandkids. There is one playpen but no highchair for littles and no toys for younger children, so you would need to bring your own. We have stayed here three times and will definitely stay again when we are visiting family in the area."

"This was a father/son trip.This was a great location for our purpose of wildlife photography in the area and beyond.We did not use some of amenities that were available, due to weather. The firepit area is set up for a great time around the fire. The rocking chairs on the back porch are perfect to observe the lake. We were hoping to get on the lake with the kayaks, but it was a bit windy(30 mph). It was a peaceful setting and beautiful area.We had to bring minimum for this trip, which made it much easier for us after a 13 hour drive to get there. Instructions for entry upon arrival was communicated well. It's a great place to stay and made this trip very memorable. So much better than a hotel."
