"My husband and I chose to stay at this property with our dog over a long weekend, and we were absolutely thrilled. The home itself is stunning, with so many fine details and accents- real wood fireplace (with a massive pile of stocked wood right outside the door), multiple jacuzzi tubs, a fully stocked pantry, firepit with pizza oven(??), hammocks, the list goes on and on. The place also comes ready with so many activities and entertainment- shuffleboard, board games, jigsaw puzzles, TV games, (even a bop it!). It was the perfect home away from home, a place to fully disconnect and just appreciate the moment and company. All of this- amongst 50 private acres in Illinois's most beautiful hillside. The grand windows throughout ensure you're always looking out at the gorgeous views. The walking trails that cut through the property are nice easy walks, and the way the stars light up the night sky is truly awe-inspiring.The property manager was also more than kind and accommodating of us when we had trouble with our car when leaving. They were extremely quick to respond and very thoughtful throughout.This is hands-down the best experience I've had with any rental property, I promise you can't go wrong choosing this place!!"

"Though we did not stay there overnight, this property was perfect for our dinner party. There was ample space to gather and relax. Our caterer had plenty of room to prepare the multi-course meal in private and plate/serve in front of the guests. We would not hesitate to use this property again!"

"The only thing that we were surprised at was by how fast the turn came up for the house, but once we flew by one time, we were prepared and it was easy to find after that.It is a very cute, clean and cozy place. I was wishing we were there in nicer weather as the view is spectacular, and the fire pit and grill area were very nice.Loved the paths that were mown into the field for easy exploring.It was a very easy distance to town, and everything about our stay was just easy. "We keep coming back to the properties on Brixen Ivy Ranch with different family and friends. This time there were 6 young adults at the house and it was perfect for them. Comfortable beds and large bedrooms and plenty of living space. They loved the new game room where they spent most of the time playing pool, Foosball and watching TV. The party barn next door was perfect for lounging around Saturday and watching football games. Also got 18 holes of cowboy golf under a beautiful sunset. Joe, the property manager, and the owner were very responsive answered all our questions about the property. At night we relaxed in the hot tub with spectacular views. Definitely coming back!"

"The house was very clean and spacious. You can tell that much thought and care went into the recent rehab. Our group of kiddos, parents, and grandparents enjoyed the trails, animals, and access to the Galena Territory, as well as proximity to Chestnut Mountain and Galena. One night we enjoyed a cozy fire, while other nights we gathered around the large table and played board games and card games. Joe was a pleasure to communicate with and he ensured all our questions were answered and we had everything we needed for our stay. We definitely recommend this property for a family getaway. "
