"My partner and I enjoyed our stay here in Hanover, IL. We loved being able to look out to the Apple River and watch the birds in the mornings. The space was perfect for us. The bed and living area was very cozy, the bathroom met our needs, and the kitchen was great for us to make our breakfast in the morning. Communication with Liz & Shane was easy. They always responded promptly and provided an amazing list of suggestions to meet our needs. The check-in and check-out process was also very easy.We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend for others if they're visiting the area. "

"This was my first VRBO and I couldn’t be happier. I was in love with the country style of the home inside and the FANTASTIC views outside. The bird s, including a wild turkey, were so fun to watch and listen to. You’re set back so you don’t hear the road. sooooo peaceful. Inside, there’s literally everything you need. Towels, utensils, dishes and glassware and more. There was even ice and chilled beer mugs in the freezer. The beds were super comfy and I am picky trust me. Plenty of storage for your clothes. The pool table was fun! It was too windy to use the grill or firepit but they looked very inviting. Staying there gave me the comfort you feel when you visit a family member that makes you feel at home. To top it off there was a complementary bottle of red wine from their vineyard. I usually get headaches from red wine. Not this one! He also gave us a bottle of rose that we will have at Easter tomorrow Don’t wait. Book this now!"

"We generally rent homes when traveling as an exec team. We chose this property for its proximity to our plant in Stockton,Il. Where we were able to host a small group for dinner. The location was perfect and the house is very nice. We all were amazed by the view and beautiful sunset. Three of us stay d overnight with great no issues. The amenities are nice and the cottage is well equipped. My only thought is that unless your family the bed/bath setup is not adequate for 6 bedrooms. Simply due to sharing bathrooms. "
