"This property is wonderful in every way imaginable. The property is in a great location with a bus stop right across the street that transports you around the Lake. In addition, the breakfast and dinner buffets are out of this world abundant with too many options to mention. I would recommend anyone who wants to visit Sun Moon Lake to stay. But how great Fleur de Chine Hotel is I want to say that Expedia customer service is complete garbage. I've been a customer for decades and each year I keep getting amazed at how much crappier their customer service can get. My reservation during booking said that they took a deposit at the time and I'm supposed to pay the balance at the hotel but when I arrived they said that they never received the deposit and that I needed to pay in full. The subsequent 40 minutes we tried to get in touch with Expedia customer service greatly angered both myself and the reception desk. We gave up and ended up doing my own detective work in going back through months of credit card statements to see if a deposit was taken. It turned out that it wasn't so the Hotel was correct but Expedia was wrong. I don't know why I'm surprised that this was the outcome considering that my sister recently booked an entire vacation through Expedia. However, due to some mixup, she wanted to reinstate a hotel which Expedia refused. Not sure I want to continue to use them"

"We really enjoyed our 3nights at Top Cloud Villa. The premise is serene; give us a sense of calmness and tranquility compare to our busy city life. Morning breakfast was charming and wholesome. We enjoy our daily walk enjoying the cool breeze the morning and evening sunset above the clouds. Staff was friendly and always eager to assist with any enquiries anytime. We might visit again! "Location Hotel is located very near to Cingjing farm. . The view outside the hotel is great and 7-11 is available in front of the hotel (I believe it’s open 24/7) which is very helpful. Hotel. It’s a basic hotel, one of the staffs speaks English. Rooms are good with coffee powder and 4 bottles of water that they top up everyday. There is no coffee Mac though, you have to get the water from common dispenser to make coffee. There is no lift but I don’t think it was a problem for me as our room was just a floor above the ground floor. They do serve breakfast. But very basic local breakfast. Hotel do have a restaurant where they serve hotpot lunch and dinner. Overall hotel is okay for a day or two."
