"Nice and central, close to waterfront and shopping. We were able to store our bikes with reception. Parking was a pain as it was on the street or in the parking building down the road and was expensive. Aircon unit in the room was noisy so we could not have it on overnight which meant we were a bit warmer than what we would have liked. "We loved our room overlooking the Wellington marina, it was close to everything and the views were incredible. The room was large and vet clean, the shower was great and the parking was convenient. We parked our car and just used Uber for everything. "

"The Wyndham Microtel was perfectly situated for our needs. It was close to the ferry (which we were taking the following morning) and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and stores. The amenities were fabulous, the room and hotel were clean, and we appreciated the spaciousness of the room. "

"Great location where the property innovatively blends this historical building with modern decor. Room was immaculately clean and presented with comfortable bed. Buffet breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced when added to room rate at a discount. Staff I dealt with (Hui and Phong) were friendly, helpful and professional."

"Handy location in the CBD, close to attractions, eateries, and shopping. Shower had plenty of hot water, with great water pressure. Housekeeping were attentive. Rooms would benefit from an upgrade, but the Travelodge is excellent value for money. "

"The room was really dated, shower over the bath difficult to get in and out of. Pictures on website in no way resembled the room we had. One sash window that didn't stay open and a pedestal fan. Restaurant was closed and when I booked it said there was a restaurant available on site. I get that they may be upgrading rooms but they could indicate that so that you have advance warning."
