"Beyond words how beautiful this property and area is. Off the beaten path but well worth it. Astrid was so sweet and accommodating. She brought us fresh vegetables and even fed us some grilled goat which was delicious! The view is spectacular! Definitely recommend this place! 5 stars in our book! "

"Great views, rustic self accommodation in a surfers/kite surfers town. The property is a little basic but it has everything you really need for a beach vacation. It’s a good steep walk up to the accommodation so beware if you’ve got a big suitcase. There’s not much by way of restaurants or groceries (avoid the small mini marts near by in favour of the larger ones nearer the chora). Our hosts were friendly and offered port pick up."

"Lovely accommodation close to great beaches, restaurants and bars but quiet and peaceful. David was an excellent host, ensuring lots of starting goodies for us. Wonderful time. "

It was well laid-out: nice views from every room and we could have a decent breeze in the heat. Location is at the back of Glinado, an easy walk away from the bakery, and small collection of village shops. The village is short drive to nice beaches, and far enough away from the busy Naxos town."

"Perfect! Kind host who offered to assist in any way. Water and cherries were waiting for us in fridge. We all enjoyed the outdoor shower. View was beautiful. Loved walking the ocean front trail by house. We will definitely return!"

"A beautiful, modern, well-appointed house with the most incredible outdoor space and views over the sea. We didn’t want to leave in the evenings because we wanted to savour every sunset. Gareth was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The one feature that took getting used to was the drive to the house, which requires a very steep descent followed by a very steep ascent, on a narrow road with two way traffic. "The home is lovely and conveniently located close to the beach. A short walk to many nice cafes and shopping. A perfect location. The back garden of the home was beautiful and very relaxing. A perfect spot to sit and enjoy good company. Our host Kostas was wonderful, taking care of any requests or questions we had. "We would not stay! It was not clean, door knob fell off from inside, so was not safe, dingy atmosphere both much need for updating!! VRBO cancelled our booking…thankfully! "

"If you are a romantic who wants a white-washed, bougainvilla-clad ancient Cycladic cottage on a hill above Naxos, this is the place for you. If you are a practical person who wants a toilet that flushes regularly, a comfortable bed (not a lumpy box spring for a mattress), and a functional air conditioner, this is not the place for you. Also the cottage comes with a parade of neighborhood cats, barking dogs, and biting bugs. Be forewarned!"

"The property was impeccably clean. Walkable distance to beaches and town. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The beds are hard, and no screens on windows. But other than that, great value and location. We would stay here again. "

"The rooms were unique and clean. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was disappointing. but sufficient. Beach was right outside the door with access to the boardwalk which went directly in to town. Parking the rent a car was difficult and not recommended to drive in to town. However, the town is very walkable."

"Castle Mansions is perfectly located in the heart of Naxos, with everything—dining, shopping, bars, entertainment, beaches, and the port—just a short walk away. They arranged a 2-day car rental for us, making it easy to explore the island. Our apartment had a lovely balcony where we enjoyed our mornings, and the housekeeping was top-notch. The management was incredibly welcoming and always helpful with directions. I would highly recommend Castle Mansions. Sue Welp"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Melidron in Naxos! We are a family of three and the room we had was the perfect amount of space. The property was beautiful and well maintained! The room we had was very nicely decorated, comfortable and had a small patio at the front as well as a drying rack which was useful after a day at the beach. They also supplied us with both bathroom towels as well as beach towels which was appreciated! A generous Breakfast buffet was included every day with eggs, toast, fruit, Greek yogurt just to name a few things as well as a selection of baked goods and pastries all made in house by the family that owns this property. The pool area was a bonus. There is also a pool bar that you can order drinks from while you sit & relax by the pool! Everyone that works there was extremely friendly and helpful when we had questions about the Naxos area or Greece in general. The property is also a short walk to Agios Prokopios Beach, 5-7 mins, many great restaurants are also nearby plus a grocery store just down the street is handy! "

Go To Naxos

"The hotel is quite large and the area very convenient to both shop and services and a beach. The room we had was large and had everything we needed. Staff at the front desk gave us different answers to similar questions so it was a bit confusing (eg using the phone). The pool is very nice but it would be nice if it opened before 11am. Breakfast was very good."
