"Excellent place to live very caring and professional staff When we left 5 am they packed breakfast for us It’s touched me. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent. Very beautiful and cozy resort with olive trees and gardens all around. My family loved it. The private beach was clean and beautifully well kept. I can see their high standards. Would recommend to my friends and family. "

"While some reviews are negative, that was not our experience at all. We have been to many all inclusive resorts and this may have been our favourite: amazing ocean view, updated rooms, buffet options, water park. We were given an upgrade on our room - from a deluxe suite with pool to a bungalow with pool and ocean view. The pool was so relaxing and beautiful, I would say we spent half of our time there. We did the all inclusive package and were not disappointed- the options at the buffet were plentiful, fresh, and delicious. However, all inclusive in Europe is different than all inclusive in the Caribbean - included drinks end at 11:30 pm, you can only dine at ala carte restaurants if you want to pay or if you stay a minimum 4 nights (one ala carte meal is included), not all the bars include your drinks (we were at the waterpark and got two bottles of water and were asked for our room number to charge them to, which was fine), 3 meals are served per day at designated times, and there is a small snack bar- but nothing crazy. The shuttle from the airport is not included and costs €85 each way by taxi and takes about 60 mins. Everyone was friendly and helpful! We spent an afternoon in town (€8 euro taxi from the hotel) and it was even better - the people, the shopping, cannot say good enough things about the people of Crete/ Agios Nikolaos. Nothing is crazy overpriced and they are happy when you are happy! Would love to return. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Ariadne Beach Hotel. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and well equipped with terrific views of Mirabello Bay. We were half-board and the food was fantastic and the waiting staff just lovely. The beautiful Gargadoros beach is only a short stroll away on which we spent many happy days. We will definitely be returning!"

"Minos Palace is a gorgeous property with wonderful staff and top notch service. The hotel was able to arrange a taxi for us from and to the airport. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room with a nicer sea view, received a very warm welcome with a welcome drink and tour of the hotel. The food is excellent, every staff member is very friendly and attentive, and the amenities were fantastic - spa, restaurant, lounge area with live music & DJ, pool, beach, and wellness activities like yoga and sound baths. It's also a short walk to the town. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting, and would easily stay here again.
