"The room was great value for money! Staff at the pub were nice and welcoming, as was the food. Housekeeping staff need to ensure there is handwash in the bathroom, we had to use our own. The skirting board by the bed had drink spilt all over it- not sure how long it had been there before. This did not effect our stay though but effects the rating given."

The food choices were excellent, good value and tasty. Our only complaint was the loud noise coming from the air conditioning unit attached to the bar/restaurant, we had our window open for fresh air and the unit was quite loud. "A lovely hotel where the staff were absolutely wonderful, the kids were over the moon with the biscuits the lady on reception gave us, just a little touch but it was lovely. The room was a little dated but had all we needed and was well maintained and clean which is more important than the era of furniture (think 1990s pine era).
