There seemed to be a mistake made as we did not get the room we had booked and finally agreed to take an apartment that they had. The shower was so small that you hit the walls when washing and nowhere to put your soap or shampoo except the floor. No places to put your toiletries. The grounds were beautiful and clean. Lovely and warm in rooms throughout recent sub-zero temperatures. Apartment main door locking system a bit fiddly, especially when timed lights go out - also similar issue with corridor lights going off and plunging into darkness - ok once you can find the switches."

"The host Guerrino was absolutely amazing! Our flight was delayed and he was in constant contact with us making sure we arrived safely. We were driving from MXP to Cavarzere and didn’t arrive until 1:30am. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and was close to our family in Rovigo. I would definitely pick The Roses house to come back on our next trip to the Venezia area and recommend it to all looking for a central location near the beach and all the amazing attractions nearby."
