"We didn’t realize that the free activities at the resort aren’t available on Sundays or Mondays. The pool is also closed on Mondays. There is a swim beach but it was overgrown with grass and also had garbage floating in it from the nearby boat dock, so we didn’t use it. Unfortunately we had appointments later in the week so we didn’t have the option to take advantage of all the free amenities mentioned in the website. "This adorable house in the country was a great place for our group to stay! We were 3 couples and our kids coming to College Station for a game weekend. Everything was clean and well-prepared for our arrival. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you can need to cook a good meal. The beds and linens were comfortable and cozy. It is quite a way out of town, but not a bad drive at all. We had a great time and would gladly come back and stay again. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay in this darling cabin! The cabin was clean, the scenery is beautiful, and the animals on site are delightful. The hosts are very easy to talk with and were happy to take us on a tour of the property. We enjoyed seeing the cows right outside of our cabin as we relaxed in the mornings on the comfortable porch. There are great restaurants in the nearby town, and a grocery store is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. We would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"Owner was easy to communicate with, the property was beautiful and set away from it all; but still 15-20 minutes from downtown Brenham. Kids were able to roam, check out the livestock, fish, and relax at the pool. Plenty of room to grill and cook, all while relaxing at the end of baseball tournament games. The property seemed run down and then listing was not accurate- there showed to be a bait shop, and ability to fish off the back porch which was not accessible due to “construction” The AC did not cool very well, and most of the lights inside our cabin didn’t work so we sat in the dark.
