"We loved our stay in this very special home in Sero Colorado. These are the things we liked the best:Location - we thought the beaches were spectacular on this end of the island - some were rugged and wild and some were quiet and perfect for lounging and swimming. We found San Nicholas to be a charming, authentic town with an artistic flair.This home- very clean and designed extremely well. Each bedroom has its own high end en suite bathroom. The pool is situated centrally and really perfect for frequent daily enjoyment.The covered cushioned seating area provides a place to “chill” in the breeze.The covered back veranda is just perfect with shade and option to dine and be together in the shade.The kitchen is large and provides space to work as well as well appointed appliances .The beds are very comfortable! There is a privacy wall surrounding the home.The landscaping is beautiful.We really liked the vibe away from resorts and the tourist hustle and bustle.Thank you to the owners for providing us with this small slice of paradise!"

"My sister, her partner and I had a absolutely glorious week at Martha's Place in Sint Nicolaas. The area was even more wonderful than we had originally imagined because of the quiet nature of her neighborhood and the proximity to two local beaches. The check-in process was excellent as Martha was very flexible on when we arrived and made sure that we knew all the ins and outs of the property once we made it there. The home was very clean and neat and comfortable and could be controlled with temperature even during hot days very very well. The seating area outside undercover was fantastic for late night book reading and chatting over a glass of wine. We had access to a washing machine and were able to hang all our clothes to dry as we needed it during the week. Martha provided other things such as beach chairs and towels which was very handy. The location was a little bit under sold because the proximity to the beach was literally a five minute walk down the hill and you could take a choice of either Baby Beach which was a much busier venue or Rodgers Beach where there was literally nobody. In comparison to the rest of the island we felt that this was by far the most favorable for us because of it's quiet and comfortable residential environment yet close to the beaches. This was our first time in Aruba and there's obviously some people that enjoyed the resort areas that are further up to the northern part of the island and that's not what we are looking for. "

"The property is beautiful and spotless. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable including helping us with car rentals, booking excursions and recommendations for restaurants. The Welkom dinner is a wonderful end to a travel day and set the tone for a very special vacation. This is a quieter part of the island which suited us perfectly. We had fantastic meals where the locals go! Don’t hesitate- just book. We have already for next year! "

"Ever had a stay somewhere where it was SO good, you don't know where to start the review? This is the challenge I have. So, I'll start with the owners.Cees and Ankie are the most gracious hosts you will find. We arrived later than planned due to a late flight. We grabbed some groceries (which they offered to pick up for us if we wanted). Ankie was there to meet us, walk us through the property and answer any questions we had. She even cooked the frozen pizzas we bought as I had forgot the property didn’t have an oven. The property itself is a perfect size for a family of 4. It comes with everything you'd need: silverware, dishes, pots, pans, glassware, towels, beach towels, etc. They have WiFi in the property which has plenty of bandwidth to handle multiple devices and a TV that has a decent amount of channels. There are AC units in each of the rooms which cool it down quickly and nicely. If you're looking to experience the REAL Aruba, you can't beat this location. It's in a quiet neighborhood and only a short 4-minute walk to Roger's Beach or a 3-minute drive to Baby Beach (you can walk this too). You WILL need a car at this property.Bottom line: If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable, perfectly located place with very responsive and kind owners...look no further. If I ever make it back to One Happy Island, I will be staying here again."
