"This house has a lot of history and reminded me and my wife of our childhood. Very clean and organized! Appreciate the hosts for there efforts in making us welcome. We would recommend this location to anyone and would come back if the opportunity presents itself in the future. The only one negative thing we would say was that the showers did not have great water pressure. I would recommend the shower heads be replaced. "

Front door framed by beautiful lead crystal windows leads to roomy front porch for morning coffee, cuddling on the swing seat with a good book, comfortable chairs for gathering. We watched the full moon come over the hill glittering on the Ohio River both from the porch and a bench at the edge of the river bank. "The views are beautiful. We loved the big wrap around porch and utilized it most of the time. It does have a hillside to get to the firepit which might make it difficult for some. The kids of all ages had a great weekend together. There are many spices to accommodate any meal. It was a much needed family weekend!"

"The house is really really lovely. all historic wood trims, bumped-out reading nooks, beautiful staircase, etc. The location looks super convenient on a map - right on Main Street - but OH the truck traffic! Even all through the night trucks go by. Like all historic houses, this one is right on top of the street, so sleep was not so great. "This was our third time to stay with Sarah. Always a clean & neat house. Stocked with bottled water, soft drinks, beer, wine, coffee pods dishwasher pods & washing machine pods. Ample supply of clean towels. Needs some more silverware (tea spoons), coffee cups & dishes. Overall a good stay. We will come back again."

"The cabin is warm and inviting. All the supplies you need are provided…kitchen and dining ware, firewood, plenty of blankets. The area is very peaceful. All we heard was the sound of leaves rustling, birds chirping and the fireplace crackling. It’s a short walk to take in the beauty of the lake and surrounding trees."

"The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that."
