Rosies Place specially designed for people who want to have a nice holiday break in Amsterdam. It’s located on the first floor of our house, accessible by a steep staircase. Rosie’s is luxurious, warm and specious and you will have complete privacy.

Our home is situated in the Jordaan, which is right in the city center of Amsterdam, within the so-called canal ring, tucked away in a small quiet street. Around the corner you will find restaurants, bars, shops, galleries, markets and lot’s more. Also the museums are close by. Even closer is the Anne Frank House.

Rosie’s is more than suitable for 2/3 adults or 2 adults with 2 small children. It has a king size bed and a sofa which we can convert into a single bed or double bed. You have a dining bar, which sit 2/3 adults and a design rocking chair. Candles for a romantic touch are everywhere in Rosies Place.

We provide for free lots of coffee (Nespresso machine), tea from Mr Jones, sugar, coffee milk, Dutch cookies and a nice bottle of wine.

The bathroom has a big rain and hand shower. Towels, soap and shampoo (from Rituals) are provided for you. If you need clean towels just drop them outside in the washing bin and you will have clean ones immediately.

The terrace has SUN ! What else can we say. Sun in the morning for your coffee, sun during your lunch, sun in the afternoon drinking your beer or wine. But it’s Holland so keep your fingers crossed that the sun will shine :-)

Your bed is already made up and bathroom linen, soap and shampoo (from Rituals) is provided for. Of course you have free WiFi in Rosies Place.

The only thing we ask of you is that you respect our simple house rules: please don’t do drugs in or around our home. Smoking of normal cigarettes can be done on the balcony not inside and last but not least no partying.

The Apartment Was Lovely and As Described
We enjoyed our stay. Astrid met us at the door, showed us around the apartment and even carried our heavy bags up the stairs :-). The apartment is located in a quite area and walking distance to many restaurants, shops and places to see. It had everything we needed. Thanks again for being such great hosts.

Fabulous location and host
My husband and I visited Amsterdam for the first time and Astrid was very helpful answering our questions. The property was immaculate and location was amazing. It was just short walk to some great little cafes and bars. The bed was super comfortable and while we never sat in the living area is was great to be able to spread out out luggage and travel gear.

Restful Haven
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Rosie’s Place. Astrid and Rick are gracious and attentive hosts. After a long day of site seeing, Rosie’s Place was a restful haven at the end of the day. We especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace and listening to the birds sing in the evening. We felt more like locals than tourists. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

Our First Time in Amsterdam
Rosie’s place was perfect for us! First of all the hosts were great. Friendly and willing to help us find our way around. We had wine, coffee pods, tea, and Dutch cookies waiting for us. The kitchen was complete and the apartment was charming. We were able to walk to Rijks and Anne Frank’s etc..We would stay there again!

Best place in Amsterdam!
Look no further for your stay in Amsterdam! The apartment is exactly as pictured—beautiful and comfortable, with even an outdoor space! The location is great—lively neighborhood with lots of dining choices (and recommendations from the host), and walking or taking the tram to other areas is easy. Best of all, the host is amazing—from carrying luggage up the single flight of stairs, to the “extras” for the guests, to the friendly offer of assistance at any time necessary.

Perfect location and helpful hosts!
Astrid & Rick were beyond helpful. They offered us clean dry towels if needed, not only made restaurant recco but also called and made reservations, gave us directions to Aalsmeer auction. Even carried our luggage up the stairs! The Jordaan neighborhood is quiet with cozy local cafes, wonderful to roam the canals at night. Rosie’s place was wonderful for a couple: totally new, nespresso pods, cookies, bottle of wine, great shower. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

This was our first time in Amsterdam. Rosie’s place was wonderful, exceeded all our expectations! The hosts were absolutely marvelous. Astrid even carried our luggage up the stairs. This spot was perfect in every way . It felt like a home away from home.
The location was perfect. It is located on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle, but a short walk to town that can take you any where you need to go. Astrid is a warm and friendly hostess who is available to help with any questions. Your privacy is respected, and although family lives above and below you, you never know they are there. Ideal place to stay in Amsterdam
Rosie's Place is an ideal place to stay in Amsterdam. Astrid and her family are lovely and welcoming. They answered our questions and even carried our bags the up one flight of stairs to the apartment. We found their recommendations for restaurants and shopping to be quite helpful. The furniture was comfortable, especially the bed and sofa – there’s even a terrace off the bedroom for sitting outside! The apartment is located in our favorite neighborhood of Jordaan, and we walked everywhere. This was our third visit to Amsterdam and by far the best place we have stayed at.

Beautiful flat in Jordaan!
Rosie's Place is fabulous! It is well appointed, tastefully decorated, in an location where all major attractions can be walked to, and is very quiet and cozy. Astrid helped us bring our luggage upstairs upon arrival and gave us a tour and run down of the workings of the flat. There is a lovely patio right off the sleeping area. The beds were comfy with nice linens; lots of towels available; and everything you could need in the kitchen is there including a Nespresso machine. Highly recommend this rental. Thank you to Astrid and Rick and their family.

Best start to Anniversary Trip
This is the absolute best place to stay in Amsterdam. In the middle of everything but also very quiet location when you need to decompress from the hustle and bustle of a major city. Everything g you would ever want to eat is in easy walking distance from Astrid and Rick’s house. Groceries are nearby and also launderette. If you are there on a Saturday you don’t want to miss the market that is nearby. Astrid is a wonderful host and helped every step of the way with suggestions of where to eat, getting to their house, and other suggestions. The room is perfect with coffee, wine, and cookies to enjoy during your stay. Anne Frank is a short walk and Museumplein is a short tram ride away. We will definitely stay here again when in Amsterdam again.

Our 2nd stay at the amazing Rosies place. Astrid, Rick and family always make you feel at home. They provide true hospitality. Always a warm welcome. They will assist you with your luggage and provide wonderful treats such as coffee, Dutch cookies and a bottle of wine. Rosies place has everything you need for a wonderful comfortable stay. And the back balcony is amazing for a breakfast time coffee or a glass of wine to end the day. At the end of our stay they arranged for transportation to the airport for us. And were there early in the morning to say goodbye and help with the luggage again. Our next time in Amsterdam will find us at Rosies place again! Cindy and Steven

I felt like we hit the jackpot staying at Rosie’s place. Astrid was the best hostess! The property was in a fantastic location in the Jordaan! It was on a nice, quiet residential street but only a few blocks from restaurants, ice cream and coffee shops. We ate at La Perla Pizza and La Oliva both just down the street and recommended by Astrid. We had apple pie at Winkle’s (another great recommendation). The tram stop was only a few blocks away. Fantastic location, close to everything! We walked most everywhere or took the tram! Took a canal ride with Captain Dave who was great and again was a recommendation of Astrid’s! Amazing host, perfect location!!
We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay at Rosie’s Place! Astrid is so kind and helpful and available if we had any questions or needs. The location can not be beat, the beds are SO comfy, the area is peaceful and close to everything! The apartment itself has everything you could need to have a fabulous stay in Amsterdam! Astrid even arranged a taxi for us back to the train station the early morning we left! Amsterdam is amazing in every way and staying at Rosie’s place was perfection! No negatives what so ever- unless of course you have a hard time climbing steep stairs! If so be warned- everywhere in Amsterdam has steep tiny stairs!! Just be careful, go slow and you will be okay! Thank you!

Best Away From Home Experience!
Rosie's is the best place ever! The studio apartment is perfectly situated, really comfortable, very clean, and airy. It has everything you need and more. And then you have an absolutely delightful host who is there to help with whatever you need and believe me, there were many, many emails and texts exchanged for all kinds of information. Astrid made us feel as if we were at home hanging out with old friends. That was the best part of all. Of course, you cannot discount Amsterdam itself, which is a wonderful, wonderful city. There is much to do and see here and we are coming back to Amsterdam and Rosie's. The Jordaan and Rosie's are the best places to enjoy Amsterdam. If you come this way, don't miss the pizzeria La Perla, located just a few walking minutes from Rosie's. The food was to die for. Also, if you are hungry for a good American burger, try the place right next to La Perla--can't remember the name--where we had a juicy and tasty burger. Anyway, I now know why people like Amsterdam so much.

Exceeded expectations
Astrid is a wonderfully friendly, communicative host. Check in was simple. Directions to the apartment using public transportation made it easy. The apartment is roomy, clean and light with everything we needed in kitchen and bath. We even used the terrace on a clear winter evening I highly recommend this place in a wonderful neighborhood with restaurants and transport conveniently nearby.
