A Rare Gem
We loved staying in this location. The very steep stairs--a quality of all old buildings in Amsterdam--did not deter our enthusiasm for climbing all 4 stories to reach the beautiful apartment at the top.

I had a fantastic stay. The apartment is much bigger than shown on the advert. It also has a private roof terrace. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Cancelled as I arrived
Never stayed here. Owner cancelled as I arrived in the city. Gave me two options as alternatives, neither of which was acceptable. Reason was “Mechanical issue”. He also did not contact me about the room until I contacted him the day before. Found a nice hotel instead.

Totally unreliable
No communication from the owner. Stayz insisted we had to wait at the address till the check in time and then they would put us in a hotel. Unimpressed by Stayz as well.

Amazing space, ideal location
Our jaws dropped when we walked into the apartment. Two rooms in the top floor of a historic canal front home. Brightly lit. Incredible views, <15 minute walk to so many museum, parks, restaurants/bars/coffeeshops, Amsterdam Centraal station 15m walk. Host was responsive and accommodating over online communication. Note: apartment is up many flights of narrow stairs, we enjoyed them, but might not be for everyone. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a scam. They never sent me the exact address, I booked and paid 4 months in advance and they canceled 3 days before our trip. It was too good to be true! Good price and location but not to trust.

Property was not what we booked. Host moved us twice to different location and never to the property we booked. NOT HAPPY at all with your company for not helping us with this booking. Spent over 3 hours, the days before, trying to correct this error. Will stay away from VRBO in the future and will pass on to all friend including my 2,300 friends on Facebook to stay away from your company. Customer service sucks. DID NOT STAY WHERE WE BOOKED

All's he told us is a structural problem.. did help us find one nite stay. Previously slow to respond, several days to request for info. We did not see unit, VRBO make me choose rating on clean and rating.

The canal house has lovely views of the city and the location is amazing! It is central to many of the things a tourist would want to do in Amsterdam.

Amazing little top floor place!
Don’t be deterred by the many stairs to get to the apartment, it’s wonderful at the top! The space is actually two rooms with an attached balcony, and my partner and I loved sitting by the window and people-watching. The apartment is decorated with lovely art and sconces, and was extremely comfortable for our week long stay! Only surprise was that we were unable to use the stove, but we made it work :)
