Room was clean and quite large! Staff were wonderful, especially the night staff who were so friendly. Very convenient location. Really enjoyed our stay here. Only negative really is that there was no heater in the room. We cpuld use the cooling system but no heating. Not a big deal though as room was ok temperature anyway.

In the basement rooms, the WiFi often did not work. There was also no reception in these rooms, so it made it difficult to do anything on a phone.

We really like this Hotel and it’s the second time we have stayed here. The only thing we didn’t like this time is our room was on 3rd floor elevator only went to second and we were faced with killer stairs. As we are both 75 years old we found this very daunting and the wife was scared

We hated the attic room so much. The stairs going up are steep and narrow. Not safe at all especially for seniors. Elevator only up to 2nd floor.

The hotel is perfectly adequate but we felt for the price it was not good value. Hi lites were a super fast WiFi an easy walk to the city center and a reasonable breakfast buffet (€16:50 each). The staff ranged from wonderful to crabby, no ice, only 2-3 English news channels and only full beds were the drawbacks.

The location is excellent. We were concerned that it was in the red light district but we never found this to be the case. We were given the 4 single beds on the lower level which worked out perfectly as it gave us lots of room to spread our things. The breakfast was rather minimal and expensive. There are many places close by that are more favourable.

The hotel is located close to major locations. It's in a decent shape and upgraded. We liked our room. Great service and staff, quite friendly. That being said, breakfast could have had more fresh choices. The bed is soft, gave us a bit of back ache. Usually, hotels keep firm beds in our experience.

Convenient stop over stay
The hotel is a quick walk from the Central Train station and all of the sights you need to see while in Amsterdam. The folks at the desk were all very helpful and accommodating to my needs and questions. European rooms are typically small this met our expectations, we didn't feel cramped at all. Updated bathroom, coffee maker, working air conditioner, and a fridge in the room made our stay comfortable. We were there for two nights and it met our needs for a quick stop over on our way home from Europe.
