We really liked the Avenue Hotel. It has very professional staff, was clean and the rooms were nice. It is in a fantastic location between Centraal Station and Dam Square. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops as well as public transportation in the, area. Would definitely stay there again.

The location is excellent being right in the city centre and a short walk from the train station. The bathroom was a little tired and needed redecorating but this a minor point and it's still very clean with excellent service from the staff

The location of the hotel was perfect as it is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Central Station. Smaller rooms than we expected and same goes for the blankets, pillows and bed.

We had a lovely three day stay and the location and hotel was perfect for a city break. The rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful. Location is absolutely perfect. You are in the middle of everything and no need to take tram/public transport to any of the sites. The five minute walk to the station was also brilliant. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam.
