An ancient house of 1600 located in the noble part of Chora, renovated in 2011 and tastefully elegant-minimalist. On the ground floor living room with large kitchen, 2 comfortable sofa beds, a small bathroom with shower, a storage, and a beautiful romantic courtyard where you can rest and eat while enjoying complete privacy. On the first floor the master bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The large terrace can be accessed both from the master bedroom, which from the outside with an ancient stone staircase from the enclosed courtyard. The terrace is facing west, with amazing sunsets and view of the Gulf of Katapola. The house is equipped with all the facilities and every comfort. For the exterior, there are tables, chairs and 'chaises longues'.

Great place
Marco's home is very pretty and decorated with taste. It is located in the heart of beautilful Chora with restaurants and shops just around the corner. The view from the terrace is great. Marco and Krissa were always warm, kind and helpful. We had a great time.

Fabulous stay in Amorgos
The house is a hidden gem in the beautiful historic old town of Amorgos. Great facilities, offering a very comfortable home. Marco is a welcoming host who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. Looking forward to a return visit.

Charming small house - We will return!
Das Haus ist wunderschön renoviert, sehr geschickt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, und es ist vom Föhn bis zum Nudelsieb alles vorhanden, was man brauchen könnte. Wir wohnten zu dritt mit unserer 10-jährigen Tochter dort, was ungefähr der Maximalbelegung entsprechen dürfte. Alles andere erscheint mir als eher unbequem. Zu dritt hat man aber reichlich Platz, um sich auf den zwei Terrassen oder auch im Inneren auszubreiten und wohlzufühlen. Marco Perazzi und seine reizende Familie sind sehr freundliche, aufmerksame und sympathische Gastgeber. Großzügig noch dazu: Wir haben ihn schon auf der Fähre nach Amorgos kennen gelernt, und da er selbst ohne Auto ankam, spendierte er uns sogar noch ein Taxi für die recht lange Strecke von Katapola nach Chora. Da das Häuschen mitten in der extrem malerischen Chora liegt, ist man innerhalb von ein bis zwei Minuten beim nächsten Laden, an der Bushaltestelle oder in einem der zahlreichen Cafes und Lokale im Ort. Einige Wanderungen kann man tatsächlich auch vom Ort aus beginnen. Um die Insel aber ausführlicher erkunden zu können, benötigt man aber ein Auto - oder zumindest eine Busfahrkarte...

belle petite maison esthétique et fraîche au centre d'Amorgos
On a beaucoup aimé cette petite maison rénovée par Marco en 2011, elle est spacieuse, esthétique et épurée, les matériaux sont de qualité; La chambre à l'étage jouxte la salle de bain, elle possède de nombreux rangements, la salle de bain est pratique et jolie; la terrasse est accessible depuis la chambre ou par l'escalier qui donne dans la cour. le rez est assez grand, il y a une seconde toilette et on peut aussi se doucher dans cette petite salle d'eau. nos deux filles de 11 et 13 ans ont dormi sur les banquettes du séjour... ces dernières sont assez larges et suffisamment confortables... juste leurs pieds se touchaient dans l'angle... je veux dire par là que ce couchage convient parfaitement à deux enfants.... mais plutôt à un seul adulte selon moi. Point très agréable aussi la fraîcheur de la maison, les murs épais de 60cm de large permettent de se passer de climatisation, il n'y en a pas et c'est bien plus agréable notamment la nuit. un mini supermarché est situé à 10 pas, et juste à coté de la maison il y a une patisserie bar qui fait de délicieuses glaces. bref que du positif, seul bémol en juillet et août, encore plus que les autres mois l'île est extrêmement venteuse, nous n'avons donc pas pu profiter de la belle terrasse. Le monastère (visible dans le grand Bleu) est accessible à pied en 30 minutes... magnifique le matin tôt. D'ailleurs quand nous y étions l'équipe de "faut pas rêver" y tournait un reportage qui sera diffusé en octobre prochain sur france3. Jolies petites criques, et belles randos...assez varié donc. A recommander sans hésitation.

Da ritornare
Viaggiamo da tanti anni in Grecia, ma non avevamo mai soggiornato nella Chora. Esperienza unica, che dona un fascino supplementare alla vacanza. La casa e' stata ristrutturata con attenzione e rispetto, nel contempo il patio ed il terrazzo offrono grande vivibilità anche all'esterno. L'isola ed il suo mare lasciano un segno nell'anima.

Charmante et accueillante maison à Chora
La maison de Tiziana et Marco est l'une des plus anciennes maisons de Chora-Amorgos, restaurée avec soin, goût et simplicité. Très confortable, elle offre 2 terrasses, dont l'une à l'étage supérieure. La cuisine est très bien aménagée et espacée. Si le temps est un peu froid, il est possible de se chauffer avec un petit poêle (stove). Literie et draps de bain sont disponibles et changés 2 fois par semaine, le ménage très bien fait par une femme de ménage également 2 fois par semaine. Pour la 3ème fois, nous avons passé un magnifique séjour en mai-juin 2015 et nous espérons y retourner une fois encore...nous ne nous lassons pas de découvrir cette magnifique île, de passer du bon temps dans cette jolie maison qui a gardé son "âme "grecque. Nous avons apprécié l''accueil et la disponibilité de Tiziana et Marco. La connection Internet est difficile dans la maison mais le petit café-pâtisserie juste à côté nous permet d'avoir un accès Internet...et les pâtisseries sont délicieuse!

Séjour de 10 jours à CHORA
Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable de 10 jours chez Marco Perazzi (propriétaire très sympathique et très serviable) à Chora sur Amorgos. La maison est très sympa et même mieux que sur les photos. Très bien équipée, propreté impeccable (linge fourni et ménage fait 2 fois par semaine) et moderne avec sa terrasse très agréable et calme. Située en plein centre du petit village magnifique et typique nous avons déambulé dans ses jolies petites ruelles fleuries où nous avons trouvés différent petits restos très sympas, bons et bon marché. Bus et loueur de voiture à proximité pour visiter l'ile qui est superbe. Si ce n'était pas si loin nous reviendrions plus souvent. Dépaysement et calme garantis. Rémy et Pascale (Bordeaux France)

It doesn't get any better....
How can I find the words to describe how great it was! The house has such a magical aura, on the one hand it makes you feel so at home and on the other as if you have travelled to a far off land that is truly mystical. Imagine waking up to endless church bells ringing on Easter Sunday with a woman sitting on the top of the church pulling the strings of the bells...this was our view from the bedroom balcony, a view we will not forget. Marco was extremely helpful, the house was warm despite the cold weather, kitchen fully equipped so we dined in on several occasions, the house was very clean and also fantastic in design. The kids loved it and so did we so we'll definitely be back!

Un lieu magnifique pour un séjour magnifique
Nous avons passé un extraordinaire séjour à Amorgos. L’île est magnifique et les habitants chaleureux. La maison de Chora nous a plongé dans le charme et la vie du village. A juste distance entre activités et calme, la maison se trouve à l’écart de la ruelle principale. On y bénéficie à la fois d’une grande tranquillité mais aussi de la proximité des services, de l’animation, des restaurants et du parking. La petite cour et la terrasse sont parfaites pour un moment de détente, l’apéro ou un repas en amoureux que se soit à midi ou pour profiter de la lumière du soleil couchant. Nous avons été charmés par l’espace et la qualité de la restauration du bâtiment. Simplicité et harmonie pour un intérieur qui invite à la détente. Service de nettoyage impeccable 2 fois par semaine. Un grand merci à Marco qui s’est déplacé pour venir nous accueillir au petit matin ainsi que pour l’attention sincère qu’il porte au bien-être de ces hôtes. Nous reviendrons ! Laura et Jean-Marc

Greece as in the picture-book
The house is situated in the heart of a greek village as in the picture-book. The village Chora, located on an elevation of 400 m above sea level, is as you would imagine a greek village: small white houses, lots of churches, narrow alleys, small restaurants. The island of Amorgos is perfect if you don't like the industrial tourism of Santorini or Mykonos. It is still an authentic greek island and you will meet people that really live on this islands. From the balcony, you have a nice view over the village Chora with its numerous church towers. In the background, one can see the sea of the golf of Katapola. The cars must remain outside the village: so no noise at all. In the alleys, you find small little restaurants with blue tables and chairs, with very moderate prices. The house itself is several houndreds of years old, and has been completely renovated 3 or 4 years ago: the house has still the authentic character, but combined with modern aspects. The house is clean. In direct neighborhood, there is a small restaurant selling delicious greek sweets. Very friendly people. We had a lot of fun watching the semi-finals and finals of the soccer world championship. The restaurant had organized a "public viewing" for the local people. The owner of the house, Marco Perazzi, lives with his family in the summertime in Aegiali on Amorgos, and in the winter in Milan Italy. He is very friendly, uncomplicated and helpful and speaks several languages. He took us with his car from the port of Katapola to Chora. On the island, you can easily travel with public buses which follow perfectly the schedule, or you can go around by walk or with bikes in the nature. Amorgos is mountainous and therefore a paradise for hikers and bikers. Renting a car on daily basis is also no problem and for little money, without reservation, even in the village of Chora. There are several nice beaches on Amorgos: the best ones in our eyes: Agia Anna, Muros. In summary, we can really recommend this house for your next holidays.

"Nous avons passé 15 jours dans cette très jolie maison, un couple et un bébé. La maison est très agréable à vivre, bien située, au coeur du village, bien équipée. Les propriétaires sont charmants et serviables. Une bonne surprise : le ménage en cours de séjour est compris dans le prix de la location ce qui est bien agréable pendant les vacances! En résumé, de super vacances! Vous pouvez avoir confiance en Marco!"

Evasion...
à Amorgos où nous avons trouvé tranquillité, beauté, soleil et convivialité. La maison est parfaite, dans un style simple et épuré tout en étant pourvue de tout le nécessaire.Le seul point faible lors de notre séjour: pas de connection Internet. Deux très jolies terrasses peuvent nous accueillir tout au long de la journée. Nous avons aimé sa situation dans le vieux village de Chora-Amorgos L'île est magnifque, ses paysages très variés et les habitants accueillants. De nombreuses plages sont à découvrir. Le propriétaire de la maison nous a gentiment accueilli au port lors de notre arrivée, à 1h30. il est très disponible pour toutes sortes de conseils. Il est certain que nous y retournerons.

"L''appartement était vra...
"L''appartement était vraiment génial. L''accueil des propriétaires extrèmement chaleureux. Marco nous attendait au port et nous a accordé plusieurs heures pour nous transporter et nous présenter l''appartement. L''appartement est situé dans un site superbe et exceptionnel, dominant le village et à l''aplomb d''un point de vue majestueux sur la méditerrannée. De nombreux moulins dominent le village et rajoutent au cachet poétique du site. Déco et désign avec beaucoup de gout, c''est un appartement d''architecte. Nous y étions 4 pour une semaine et meme si c''est peu spacieux, cela ne nous a aucunement géné car il est bien organisé et l''ile est propice aux activités extérieures. En outre, il était bien équipé et trés agréable car bien abrité du vent parfois fort à Chora à la période ou nous y étions. Il manquait juste une machine à laver que Marco n''avait pas eu le temps d''installer. Pas de wifi mais vous pouvez vous connecter sans souci au bar juste à coté en dégustant un verre ou une patisserie. Coté activités, le village est au départ de nombreuses randonnées. J''ai également fait un bapteme de plongée au pied du village avec Nikolas, qui à son siège dans le camping situé entre chora et katapola, qui m''a fait découvrir ce site ainsi que d''autres plus au sud de l''ile tout aussi exceptionnels. Je pratique le kite mais il n''y a pas de spot sécurisés et ne l''ai pas sorti. Il y a aussi de trés belle plages soit accessibles à pied depuis katapola, soit par de petits bateaux qui vous amènent sur des sites inacessibles. Pour les gourmands, comme nous,une patisserie locale reconnue dans les guides faisant aussi bar et restaurant, jouxte l''appartement et est animée toute la journée par la présence d''autoctones et de touristes le soir sans que cela ne nous ai jamais géné coté nuisance sonore, et pourtant nous ne veillons pas. Pour les déplacements, nous avions une voiture et comme nous étions 4, cela ne coute pas plus cher que des mobylettes et c''est moins dangereux compte tenu des routes escarpées trés ventées et frequemment traversées par des chèvres. Vous l''aurais compris, ces vacances resterons inoubliables et l''appartement de Marco rajoute au charme naturel du site. Bonnes vacances."
