"The villa had everything needed for a wonderful holiday for our party of 10 people, age range 10 years to 70 years. The location is superb, set in the hills above Elounda with the most amazing views of the town in the distance, the island of Spinalonga, the turquoise sea and the mountains. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms are spacious and plenty of lounge areas. The pool was great and so many relaxing areas outside for sunbathing and relaxing. We all wished we could have stayed...

"The house had a fantastic sea view from almost every angle of the house and garden. The BBQ area was its own little resort with a sink and prep area as well as a jacuzzi , hammock and beautiful garden. All doors and windows had fully fitted insect nets and the AC was excellent. Walk to the beach was 10 min. Kitchen was very well equipped and super clean, all needed household items and cleaning products available in the small pantry. "Our holiday in the Villa met all our high expectations. The Villa has superb accommodation and outside areas and facilities. The Management Company looked after a couple of issues which arose, including loss of hot water, very quickly. Makry Gialos is a fantastic and authentic resort, away from the tourist hot spots.
